Just ordered a couple Koni shocks to the replace the existing, now that I think about it, I ordered upgraded bushing too, I wonder if the harder bushing material might have lead to a earlier failure. I think I'll order new OEM bushing for the rear this time.
There is oil, I've seen oil for years on them tho. Isn't it normal for koni's to leak oil some what? Not sure on the bump stops, I'll check tomorrow since I'll have time to take the wheels off.

I have black leather seats in my 99 GST. I was pushing back and something gave and now the seat won't stay up right. Anyone fix this before or know if it's able to be serviced? I tried pushing it all the way forward then back but it don't stay up right and leans back towards the rear seats...
What do you guys think about a air hammer vs a hammer? I picked up a pickle fork set and interested in getting an air hammer for it vs using a hammer. Sears has a medium duty one for under $40 but not sure if it's good enough to pop out balljoints, etc.Thanks!
I have a 2G GST with 5 speed tranny and a wave track LSD. I had my car on stands and only one wheel was spinning. I got it up too 45 or so. I found out I had a frozen caliber, which is why it wasn't spinning, but shouldn't the LSD send power to the wheel not moving?
I have the same issue as op. It appears my driver side caliper piston is froze.I do need a inner tie rod too, I'm 100% it's the caliper causing my issue though.
Not sure, my car is having issues starting once in a blue moon. With one cylinder haveing compression issues, I would think it would still fire up. Perhaps the engine is getting flooded with fuel. Would applying a little thottle help with cold starting?

I miss my RS-R exhaust. I have the Apexi WSII and it's ok, but not he same. I still have the GS-T RS-R muffler for sale if anyone is interested. The RS-R cat back pipe rusted out at the flange which lead me to replace it with the RS-R. The RS-R exhaust is stainless steel though.
Lights are from my 99 GST. Includes bulbs. Lens need some work. I polished one and the lens is in decent shape for being this old, but the 2nd one I tried to sand and didn't get it fine enough. It's ok, but needs to be redone and polished, etc. Looking for $125 for both.

Did you forget to reconnect the MAF wire harness or the ground cable on the starter bolt?Kinda sounds like a MAF sensor, I think I forgot to connect mine once and something like that happened.
Can you rev it past 4K if you slowly give it gas? Or is it just under wide open throttle/boost? Does your speedometer work? I have DSMLink and my speedo doesn't work so until I disabled launch control, I don't go above 4K RPMs lol
