I'm curious to see what you guys think...an accessory belt broke and tangled with the timing belt upon startup, causing the timing belt to jump a tooth. After cranking the car a couple of times I diagnosed what had happened and stopped.Timing is off enough to cause interference, as I...
well i give up, i'm going to go this route.i'll post results here. hey, maybe i could make some out of the extra resin i'll have and sell them :pprobably against some rule here though. then again, it's not like anyone else is selling them.
lol oh its a kit cari glanced at it for like 0.1 seconds and assumed it was one of the 2342342 fake ads that get posted every day by people in nicaragua
I feel good about DIY :thumb:but with college going it is very hard to find time to do things like this, especially if the car has to be out of commision on a jack while the resin dries. I'll use this as a last resort...if anyone knows of a vendor who sells a solid prothane front mount for...
does such a part exist? all i can find anywhere is goddamn inserts, but my shitty 11 year old rubber mount is torn to hell, and my transmission is just sitting on my subframe because of it.i don't want to go buy a new mount from mitsu just to stick an insert in it, that's stupid. i just want...
kobe = 234234 FG attempts per game. he is a very good player, but tbh needs to involve his team more than he does. if he could play unselfishly with a very skilled team then we'd have another bulls-esque dynasty.but no. spurs will take lakers out after the mavs. then pistons....oh shit...
a good friend of mine just acquired an NSX.it is a sexy car - 1991 with 54,000 miles. i've pictured it here with my dsm. teh dsm will take him in a straight line, but i'd trade him any day of the week (obviously)...cause i could sell it and buy four of my cars :thumb:no, i'd sell it...
take that wrap off of your manifold. don't ever run it with it on, your egts will be ridiculous, and it will crack.well before that though, those zip ties holding it on will turn to liquid heheheh.anyways, waiting for results.
guess i never followed up on this post :boring:sorry!anyway, these are the best tires ive ever had. they have about half of the tread left on them, and its been about a year and a half. completely blew away my old yokohama avs es100s both in traction and tread life.when its time...
whataburger does trounce pretty much everything around here, but you have to pay a bit more for the quality of it. but damn, 24 hours and damn good food at all times is something that is pretty unique. there's nothing even similar i ever found in europe.
ROFL you miss the point of my thread. i dont give a shit about a $1 sandwich, its worth the $1 for the comedic value.here is someone who gets the point of the thread:granted i didnt make the thread knowing i got a wrong sandwich (there is something called a honey bbq snacker...
well at least they just messed me up and got me the wrong sandwich.i had never before tried a kfc chicken sandwich - after seeing this one, however, i don't have any motivation to see what any others have to offer. think i'll stick to whataburger and wendy's :thumb:
yes i agree, 99 cent wendys nuggets are by far the best meal you can get for under a buck - sweet and sour sauce with em and they are ubergood. sometimes i try to see if anything can compete, and god this thing couldn't at all, even if they did botch it.
Everyone has seen the ads for these damn things...$0.99 for a rather decent-looking sandwich. Now of course the sandwich you see in the ads is never going to be as pretty as the one you get; there is a 0% chance you will ever buy a KFC Buffalo Snacker and get what is pictured above...
i haven't taken it to the drags for quite a while. second gear has no synchro.it ran 13.79 the last time i took it out, but with a 104mph trap speed. i'd absolutely love a shepherd-outfitted tranny with a lsd...that's not going to happen unless i come about a couple of thousand extra...
i said hard, not impossible :p
i understand i'm not quite up to the level of painting like a bodyshop.11 year old red paint is going to have some unavoidable oxidation in texas sun, as well as the obvious dings, scratches etc that don't show in the pictures, but are obvious close up.
that's so awesome that so many people have done the greyforest hood vents :cool:of course "so many" is probably only about a half dozen, but thats enough to make me happy.anyways! part 2: the wash120,000 mile daily driver, 270 wheel hp, 26 miles per gallon, and looks...
some of you may remember me, i've been around for a while...my gst was a sweet looking daily driver. case in point:unfortunately about 6 months ago she was the victim of the tail hitch of an SUV that was backing up. to add injury to injury, about a month after that a large rock in the...
first turbo eclipse since 99?i give a big :thumb:i wonder how much that awd 4g weighs out of the box, and i wonder how much it would weigh with extraneous bullcrap removed...
yes.i did the ones pictured above with fiberglass, but i'll have to redo them with my urethane bumper repair epoxy. same stuff used to fill in the emblem gap on my bumper - adheres to urethane and flexes with it as well. fiberglass doesnt!
Forum member Tarantula just did this mod with excellent results, with a few alterations to the method. Here is his documentation:here is the gallery of his car.Zack had a slight alteration on the process as well:
