The stainless steel line for the 16g and 14b is the same. Besides more practical it looks a lot better. And the pressure is more stable. Just find a plug for the outlet on the stock line.
The 22 spline t-case has an all aluminum case and the 23 spline t-case has a combination of cast iron(front) and aluminum(rear) case. Also the 22 spline only came on 90 vehicles.
Since you are you to this gig you ought to take it easy and go one step at a time otherwise you are going to bite more than you can chew.Fwd is fine untill you get the feel for it and you think an fwd is not enough. You got to keep in mind that awd requires more attention and the parts are...
Personally, I wouldn't waste $375k on a car when I can put $20k on a 4g63 and put up just as much power and performance, even make my car as nice as that one. And still have money left over to buy a nice house. And if I had to spend that much money on a car it wouldn't be a toyota. Maybe a...
First of all, welcome to the site . And I hope you have fun playing with the car and learning from it. I guess that's how everyone starts, by playing with them and learning on the way. Just follow some of the modification paths that are available through out the site and you'll be alright. Just...
Try removing the thermostat and run it like that. Look for water movement in the radiator hoses. If no movement is present maybe your water pump is going bad. Also try driving it with out a thermostat and see if it over heats. Also having no water in the hoses could mean a bad gasket. Check...
I would check the cylinder to see if it still up to specs. I really can't tell how dip the grooves are(poor picture quality) but you could take it to a shop and find out. And if it is to specs then hone it and get new rings in it. Try finding the source of the problem though.
Well, you could do what I did. Search on craigslist on another states and ship it to yours. If you ask around it is not that expensive to have a car ship to you. Just find a friend or relative to buy it(other state) and then ship it. I paid around 400$ to ship mine from SO.CA. to WA state.
I think if you look hard enough you could find some thing better for that price. You could search a little in this site and find out that many of us just paid a few bucks for our rides. Personally I only paid 350$ for mine with some minor problems. That car looks like a lot of work to get it...
Everything sound good with his advice except for the fpr, I would leave the stock N/A one on it. It runs a higher psi which will help you compensate a little for having high compression pistons. Some dsmers (including me) switch to N/A fpr to improve fuel pressure. And about the turbo size , I...
Welcome to the site, and hope to see you in some of the treads. Please don't hesitate to ask anything and I am pretty sure you will find the answers here. Just read the rules to avoid getting in trouble. And good luck with your project.:thumb:
So you are saying that he rotors you got did not have any holes or you got some other holes drill on them besides the ones they already had? PICS please.
Impressive , so little could do so much. I got some scrap aluminum laying around, tomorrow I'm going to star making a plate to bypass/block the fiav. let's see how that works for me.
I wonder what would happened if this car meets the civic (hatch back )powered by a 4g63t engine and gsx drive train. That would be some thing. About this car, come on, lets give props where they are due.:thumb:
I don't mean to steal the tread , but what are the benefits from doing this mod? When I hear mods, I am all over it. I might just get it done on my ride.
I just got an hks bov. but it's missing the snap ring. Which I've been trying to find at the hardware stores, industrial supply warehouse, and just about every auto parts and have had no luck what so ever .Does anybody have any idea where I could find one? Or have a spare one?Any help would...
Welcome and good luck with your project. And please don't get frustrated with everything that is about to come your way.:thumb: Just remember three things maintenance, maintenance and maintenance. All of these before performance.
It sound like the step in your flywheel is wrong . IF the step is too low, it wont let you release the clutch. and flatten out the pp fingers to its maximum.I know of a way to fix it but some people are against it. I did it and it works just fine.
I've been looking into all of the rewiring ways to do actually rewire your fuel pump. Then I came up with my own, Which also would work as a anti-theft device. I was just wondering if any of you would have some thing to say to make it for useful or more efficient. Please keep your smart a$$...
