ya i deffently hate buying major parts from autozone, no wonder y they put there parts under warranty cause they know that in a couple months it will give out. i just dont want to give up on my dsm cause i know its a simple fix but some dam major work. :(
well i guess it wont hurt to pick one up from o'rieleys and slap it on real quick. but im sure its going to do the same thing if i tried 3 already, im just going to pull the motor and see whats up with the clearances. :(
alright well i pulled the timing belt and there is still a little resistance like if the plugs were still in and still some struggle on the piston climb,. i did lube the walls and it has new piston rings as well. my guess would be the rings that is causing the friction? it sounds like the rings...
ok well i bought the starter from autozone and it is a duralast one and i have a couple of oem 1's sitting around and i swaped a couple and still the same problem, timing is on point but it seems when i crank it by hand it has some resistance when 1,4 or 2,3 drop to the bottom and start to climb...
alright i just got a red top altima today so it is good and the starter is good also cause its basically new. but now when i crank it over the starter starts to smell like if its being burned out cause it cant turn the flywheel.
alright well i just rebuilt my motor and just installed it a couple days ago, when i crank it over it is slugish like it needs more cranking amps or something:confused:? i just recently purchased a new battery and still having the same problem. it wants to turn over but seems like the starter...
hope this will help. get a ecu pin out diagram that tells you what wires go to what and the color, thickness. (somewhere on this site just do a search) use a multi meter and on one of the prongs wrap a paperclip around it and leave a little to poke the ecu harness conectors to find the right...
im sure it still works or is salvageable if you cant find any off ebay or somewhere. take the pins out and sotter the wires like new and stick the pins in again,as far as the one wire splice it does go like that, but only from the ground and power wires.
its easy, just get a used waterbottle squiter thing and drop some dish soap in there and spray the window and the tint really good to get it foamie then place tint on window and move it arround, and if it starts to stick spray some more adn push the soapy water like air bubbles and move it...
