Making the front end more efficient for cooling..forcing as much air as I can into the intercooler then the radiator.Moved the oil cooler to the side with its own air feed from the factory fog light opening.
Thanks! I do miss the hatch, it was with me for so long... I don't think its in me to keep something stock and I think the engineering keeps my sanity at bay...

unfortunately thanks to photobucket kicking the bucket years back and my old Western Digital hard drive shitting it self not long after..... I have lost almost all the photos... i'll try and dig up some, but no promises..
Unfortunate rust repair....Filled the centre carrier bearings in using a 2-part silcone mix with a shore 45a hardness. Should hopefully stop the slop in the drive line.

Thanks mate.Current job is Plant Maintenance Engineer, but i don't have any qualifications on paper (worked my way up without schooling, all hands on etc, so many different jobs). I build other peoples cars on the side. I am a qualified massage therapist, it paid the bills and got me some...
Yeah..... I started that then gave up on making it track worthy. Way to much designing and memories to possibly wreck it. Turned it back into a cruiser and put the sound deadening back in. Now its just for pure shits and giggles for designs i want to try out, pure fun now.
Got sick of the power steering whine on long drives, finally moved the pump further away from the fire wall.
Routed the hotside pipe around the power steering pumps new location.
Can't hear it in the car anymore.old positionnew location
It has been 10 years or so since i installed the reverse head for shits and giggles, was a budget build so reusing valves and springs etc was the go. Probably time I rebuild the head properly.Super Tech valves

Superchargers are getting harder to find around here, going towards a compoud setup. Also the BorgWarner S200's are really cheap these days, so a few ideas being tossed up.How ever buying a house soon might stop this for a while, so hopfully I get tuned before that happens :)
Um basically.. i got.. bored? Ahahha... my other intercooler was just a freeby from a friend, and was fairly aged (paint made it look good) so it was time for an upgrade (thank you ebay sales).Design is due to space constraints, but its not as bad as you might think. I spent a few hours with a...
I wanted to run all the Autometer Cobalt stuff to match my cluster, but the digital ones can be logged and more compact now days.. I might go back one day..

Just from the above tells me that your external waste gate is stuck open. If you pinched the diaphragm, you would technically over boost as the boost pressure is what opens the waste gate.Block the external gate somehow, and see if you can hear the turbo spool while free revving the engine...
finally getting to enjoy driving this around to meets and just anywhere really...2200cc injectors idle like stock on e85Also found out my fuel cell is fairly big... E85, tune is average, did 135km and gauge says i used just under 1/4 tank (also cruise control helps)Custom Cars and Coffee...
