When my crank walked it actually ate through the timing cover. So I would imagine the sensor would have to be broken to indicate a crank walk condition

    AEM A/F Lambda capability

Ya, 100 and 110 is salty in Indiana, at least $8 a gallon vs under $2 for E85. I don't understand why they say to adjust it and then say, they don't recommend adjusting it.

I want to switch to E85 and I'm trying to find out how to get my A/F sensor to read lambda. I have aem 30-4100 and it came with a lambda face plate. The instructions are a bit contradicting. It gives a procedure to calibrate followed by this statement. "AEM Lambda Gauge Owners: Because the...

    Resolved New Slave Bleeding Issues

Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture. Sitting for 6 years is definitely enough time for the brake fluid to become contaminated and corrosive.

Bleeding these clutch systems can be a B*TCH! You'll defiantly need two people to do it. Do a search for how to bleed the clutch system, theres tones of articles!

2G Bleeding air from power steering line?

This is the exact tool I use for every job, fits almost anything, you just have to hold the rubber down until you get some vacuum going and then it will hold itself

2G Bleeding air from power steering line?

Vacuum bleeding is the easiest, fastest, and most efficient way to do it. I pull the system down to -20mmhg for 3-5 minutes 3 different times, checking the fluid level after each time. When you start it up it wont make a peep!

Clutch rod is within 1/2 turn of blocking return port. I've tried an extended slave rod with no change in quality.Tomorrow I'm going to bleed the system another 30 times and do a complete clutch reality check again with the car off the the ground and double check everything. Will post results.

Yes it use to be an auto, now a 5speed. Transfercase and diff came from same doner car.I just replaced the master and slave with oem parts and bleed the system outside of the car. Got it back in and still acts the same. Put clutch hydraulic system under 25 inhg for 24 hours with no change as we

I've had the transmission out 4 or 5 times trying to get this right. A lot of history but I'll keep it short and sweet and just list what it has now and current issue.I have to slip the clutch to get it into reverse almost every time. Shifts ok when driving but very clunky, like you can feel...

    Noise at 2,000 rpm

Nice idea, would make sense. But the first time it started making the noise it still had the original lifters but the engine had been rebuilt. Going through power steering A/C belts

I had a crank pulley go bad one time and it was eating belts. The crank pulley is a two piece design held together with rubber to dampen vibrations and the rubber can go bad especially if you ever had a bad oil leak. Make sure none of the pulleys have excessive play with the belts off, and try...

Beware of Engine Flush Products and Services!

If you stick with a quality oil and and change it regularly you do not need to "flush" your engine. Biggest problem with it is if you have a lot of sludge buildup from cheap oil it can clog oil galleries once it starts letting loose.

Its a new clutch fork & pivot ball. Also, its an act 2600 clutch. Would removing that cylinder thing on front of the trans be causing these low peddle situations? The SS clutch line is made to run from the master directly to the slave but maybe thats a bad configuration for our transmissions.
