Yep. I jumped the gun in assuming on my part lol. Guess we will see. I was checking it every day and now I’m back in the same lull. I’ll just forget about it and have it show up and be a pleasant surprise at this point.
Well, what a journey. I don’t talk much in here but I do come in and keep tabs on the thread. Just got my invoice paid, due to receive next Friday. Pretty excited. Just wanted to say thank you to Ec17pse for doing this for us. Hopefully it will be the right motivation to get started back on my GSX.
I’ll probably want to hit you up sometime later too to find out more about what you did with that prius column. Saw something about adjustability with a potentiometer and that peaked my interest greatly as I was trying to figure out what to do for control.
Agreed that two months is nothing. The...
Just a quick little tidbit of info. Brandon messaged me back today after I sent him an email letting him know my rack was sent out. And he freaking rocks!!!! He said he is still waiting on some people to figure out if they want to do cores or not and that he still needs to make the fixtures to...
Alright. Rack is on it’s way to Brandon. I made sure to email him and let him know. I haven’t received a reply as it’s obviously the weekend, but I got my end fulfilled. Hopefully it gets there in time to be part of the group, but if not, I’ll eat that cost. Pretty excited for this now.
I apologize. It’s been a long night at work and my forum etiquette is lacking. I didn’t mean to imply I wrote it off due to your efforts. Shortly after this began, life threw some curveballs that forced my gsx to take a backseat and I had written off the prospect of getting this fulfilled on my...
Yeah, I’ve already handled all that. If I can’t get in with the group and the rate changes for me, so be it. Logging in today was a pleasant surprise seeing the progress as I had basically already written it off. Thank you for all your tireless efforts getting this to us man.
Dang. Life caught up with me for a bit here and had a lot of catching up to do. I have had the rack out of my car for a while, and just hadn’t been able to send it in. I should be able to get it out tomorrow or Tuesday. Hopefully it’s not too late. Good to see the final products though!!!!
I’ve been researching the prius column myself and it looks like a very viable option. I don’t really see why anyone is getting upset over someone looking into other, less expensive options. I’ve already got access to a machine shop and have experience with machining so I am not afraid of that...
I am well aware of what the ad said. Currently, I was ok with $240 for a batch job. Now its venturing into territory where I can choose other options. I feel like this option may be less of a value than initially expected.
Its $80 more than the initial cost expectation. I do consider that a substantial amount more than was expected. Either way, I did ask about it. He said that he had explained it to you that the first two kits would be priced at the $240 as “trial kits” and then the bulk price would be somewhere...
