Well, got bored the other day and figured it's time to toss on the Hoosiers and go for a ride to make sure everything fits fine before The Shootout next month. I didn't hear or feel any kind of rubbing so I'll chalk that up as good to go. I do have some 5mm spacers I will be bringing just incase...

Well, made it out to this month's PYOP event, and had success with the event itself, the new head gasket, and some of the changes to the shift box!I'll start with the shift box first. I'm still not 100% sure if the RPM up-shifter feature is working properly, but there was some positive data...

Thanks! Yup, because the buyer of my old fp black wanted the turbo with the 8cm to save a bit on cost of the turbo. Seemed a little more laggy with the 10cm, which was to be expected but was still able to get on converter with the 50 shot of nitrous. I trapped 5-6 mph more with the 10cm housing...

Well, we're back up and running! Finished off a bunch of small stuff to get ready for this Saturday's race. I still need to take the car for a small test pull and make sure everything head gasket wise has sealed up, but I'm fairly confident it is. Anyway, here are some photos of the head and...

Not too much of an update here, as the head is still at the machine shop. But ever since that cam angle sensor failure from the first event this year, I wanted to swap in a fresh sensor on the Kiggly crank trigger kit for a piece of mind, and this was my opportunity since it was all apart. I...

Thanks man! I wish I knew Boostin sold those before doing everything back there, I've seen them in photos before, but never knew where people were getting them, damnit! I would have 100% picked that up, but something for me to keep in mind for the future, I appreciate it!

Well I made it out to my first event of the year, my local no prep/ pour your own puddle (PYOP) event that DetroithoodTV puts on every month or so. This time was a little bit different, as the track they usually use is shut down, so they lined something up with a different track that hasn't had...

Thanks! Yeah I want to say I originally saw Jason Drew post about the Element fire extinguisher, and it looked like a nice alternative to a typical unit you see.The rear clutch pack consists of Raybestos Stage-1 RED frictions along with fresh steels.

I don't have too much of an update, as I'm stuck in the water with my shift box out for repair. Not sure what's going on with it exactly, but it doesn't seem to be powering up correctly.I was able to get to the alignment rack, but found my rear toe was out of adjustment and wasn't able to get...

I have a 2g DSM IPT torque converter for sale. Used it for about 2-3 seasons without any issues at all. Had the two step as high as 4200 with the use of nitrous. On the foot brake I believe I saw about 2400-2600 RPM. Went a best ET of 9.8 and best trap of 141mph.$375 plus shipping in the US.

Well, after about two months of searching and waiting, and dealing with A LOT of clowns, I finally got the forward frictions that I wanted to use! Got a little bit of an update. STILL waiting on the new forward frictions to put the trans back together, and also noticed my forward drum is cracked! Measuring rear (or forward) clutch pack clearances?

Hey everyone! How are you guys measuring clearances for the rear clutch pack/stack? After the gearing swap was complete, I planned to pull the oil pump and toss in a fresh set of Kiggly 5 friction front clutches, and a quick inspection of the kick down band and forward frictions and steels. When I bought the trans, I was told it had a Kiggly 5 friction front cluch pack...

Sold FP Black DSM 10cm Turbine Housing

I have a DSM FP Black 10cm housing I wont be needing any longer. I trapped 141 in an AWD auto car with this housing bolted up to the black. Rear subframe, axles, and suspension are finished and installed. I'm happy to be done with removing old bushings, that was getting old ha. 2G AWD Rear Toe Arms

I'm attaching photos of my measurements of the spacer provided in the Prothane kit. I found this thread awhile back looking for my options to replace old...

What factors made you crazy about DSM?

The turbo AWD platform is what reeled me in at first. The community and all the support for the platform is what pretty much anchored me to these things. The cars are a blast, yet can be challenging at the same time. The people and the cars have taught me a lot through the years, and I...
