Who’s everyone having build their auto trans? Tuner wants me to do a shift kit and clutches before I go e85 and I’m tired of the sluggish auto being a dog on the street so I need some pointers as well.

Yeah I haven’t determined what it is 100% yet but it’s a brand new motor build and turbo so that would just make the most sense at the moment

Hello, I’m running a -8an two port can off the valve cover and am still having good amounts of smoke on pulls and my oil cap is leaking pretty bad as well. Was just wondering if it would be dumb to run an oil cap with another catch can setup or if even just a better sealing oil cap would work...

Im thinking about the converter just cause it’s kinda sluggish whenever I hit the gas anywhere and I was kinda going for a street car that I could get a 10.9 with. I was thinking about throwing a Evo3 16g on and ditching the red but then it would be way harder to get a 10 second slip

Yeah I’m 99% sure it’s stock converter. I’ll have to look into a restall or a higher stall cause im not getting into the 11s/10s unless I can launch, seems like that’s confirmed

Ah damn I was hoping I could get away with atleast a decent run no launch, but the thing is a snail until like 3200 or so. Damn low compression motors lol

I tried to simulate idle switch from tps and it still does the same, my BOV is recirculated, I will post a log hopefully soon, my laptop just went out on me yesterday

The only real annoying thing right now is if I let off the throttle a little too quickly the car will go too rich and try to die on me, are the injectors just staying on too long or what is that?

Well after raising the launch limit, it didn’t seem to do anything, it still seems as if the car is struggling around the 2k rpm mark but clears up at 2.5k

I’ll have to check it out, not like I’m launching my stock auto trans anyway lol so I’ll turn up that limit

Funny enough on my way to work this morning I felt it cut fuel for half a second right around those same rpm

Sorry didn’t realize I forgot to put that info in, stock injectors 450s, and I was told the AEM wideband that I have is no good with link so I haven’t hooked it up with link. My AFRs stay in the normal pump gas 14.7 range while cruising just for reference

Sounds good, it is stock 2G maf, and I don’t remember messing with any of that when setting the car up. And yeah I don’t have that wideband setup in link cause I’m using the AEM non X-series and I was told those ones don’t work correctly in link. Thank you guys!
