My best luck was to turn it over by hand till both dowel pins ( right above the bolt ) where facing up then get something small enough to stick into the timing slots and if they line up right then what ever you have that fits into the timing marks will fit good, if not it'll be rough to get it...

I haven't gotten that far. I'm waiting for the the auto tensioner to come in. When i was taking it out I noticed that the when trying to loosen the nut on the pulley that it was moving up and down. I haven't seen that before.
The pulley itself... Should it be just able to spin or is it able to move... Mine is somehow capable of moving up and down. I'm curious how this is possible? Makes no sense me honestly.

I had and still have an ACT 2600lb PP and clutch in my car. Turns out I cracked the disc and shot some springs. When I did that I got the tranny rebuilt. SBR said the PP was fine so they put it back in the car with there disc. I've gone maybe 3,000 miles and its going though the same problems...

Ah MAS is what im thinking of. So I do I have to modify the stock mas or anything? Also I been having these idling issues with my car. I replaced the throttle body, blocked off the FIAV,EGR, replaced the IAC, going to replace the TPS. If that doesn't fix it, there any chance dsmlink can help...
Did some more diagnoses today. I unplugged the TPS and made the car idle by pressing down on the gas pedal, when I had it around 1100 steady I would have somoene plug in the TPS and it would instantly stall. Any comments on that?

So I gave it shot. Unplugged the IAC, took the negative off the battery, went inside and ate. Came out, put the negative on and still just stalls... Im not sure if it'll help but a video maybe if I can take one?

I pulled this out of a GSX, However it looks nothing what so ever like mine. Is this just a stock ecu? I been searching for pictures of ECU's on dsmtuner and google and I haven't seen one that looks like this. I dont think its eprom or anything.

Replaced ISC, Plug Wires, Spark Plugs, no boost leaks,no water in the intake, and its not the BOV. Still doesn't idle. Sometimes it'll attempt to idle at around 500rpms? Sometimes it'll also idle at like 1600 rpms, only briefly though, then it'll stall. If I start it up from a cold it'll idle...

Not the biss, the tps. You can adjust its voltage, mine was adjusted to like .55 at idle or so my afc said. Im not sure why that fixed it. Ill check the ISC.
