Yesterday I was minding my own business and just cruising at about 40, and I see a car come up on my right and floor it after he's about even...my racing instincts kick in and I immediately floor it as well. It's an Acura RSX...an exhaust, m/t is what I can tell. I surged into 3rd and put 4 car lengths on him by the next light. I take the left lane, theres a car in the middle, and he takes the 3rd. I wasn't sure if he was gonna launch from the line so I just ease out on green...he comes over to the middle lane and lines up...then honks twice and drops gears. We're going 50. I wasn't expecting him to go on the 2nd honk so he puts two lengths in front of me before I go WOT....I immediately put 6 car lengths ahead of him and flashes my taillights twice...he then made a u-turn. The car seemed quick, and every time he shifted the RSX's nose would surge up and forward...but overall no match for my car.
The day before I'm on the highway after coming off a ramp...65 mph. A BMW goes flying by at about 90. I'm thinking alright this guy thinks he's hot shit and I just got tuned...let's go get a closer look. I catch up and line up next to his M3...I make it a point to stay dead even and accelerate a bit to challenge him...he smirks and floors it. I go WOT...for about 5 seconds we're almost even, then my boost kicks in and I put several car lengths between up until 120...having made my point I let off the throttle and he does the classic fly-by.
Yesterday on the expressway, there's a 96 or so Mustang GT that I pass. After a couple minutes he goes flying past me until maybe 110 and I see him brake. I think ok, lets play pony-boy. I catch up and stay even waiting for him to drop gears...I give him a head start since he likes to do unchallenged fly-bys...then after I go WOT I straight killed him by several car lengths and see him take the next exit after kind of sheepishly hanging way back behind me.
3 cars...all unimpressed by them. I'll give the RSX props though for challenging me fair and square. And twice after I beat him the first time. That was fun. The BMW was some sorry rich guy who apparently thinks more of his car than it deserves and the mustang was just slow.
