Got my car Dyno Tuned yesterday.
got a Big16g, 550's, safc, 18psi plus the supporting mods.
At the wheels only got 271hp, is that good or bad??I'm pretty disappointed.
What would that be at the crank???
 
do you have a copy of your dynochart that you can post :thumb:
 
dude nearly 300 with that set-up is pretty decent, I wouldnt really acpect to get more with that :confused:

You must have some pretty high standards! ;)

Those are great numbers to be putting down with those mods. I have seen many people on this board with much more in their setup and are seeing much lower numbers than that. And you are AWD! But there's no reason to stop there.

Crank horsepower ( which I would not quote to anyone, its typically a cheap excuse for low output numbers ) is around 330BHP. This is assuming 21% driveline loss. Larger injectors ( 660cc/min ), camshafts ( which make a bigger difference the more boost you run ) and porting along with 22psi ( limit for the big16G, give or take 2psi ) should net you close to 300-350whp. Remember, power is in tuning, so maybe a DSMlink would be a good upgrade. Expensive, but the horsepower that can be unlocked is worth the price. Just think, full control over ignition timing and fuel. :cool:

Unfortunately I don't have a graph to show you guys, :cry: he was having some problems with the printer, the good think I got out of that, he told me next time I go there with the car he will only charge me half price. I guess made up for it :thumb:
