Ok...I don't understand it...everything is plugged in and the stock head unit doesn't get power...won't even turn on at all, I just finish putting the car back to stock and while doing it I put the stock head unit back in...it turned on and everything, but it didn't make sound...then one day, I was charging the battery...after many cranks had worn it out and accidently ground the positive jumper cable...then the 100amp altenator fuse blew...and after that the stereo wouldn't even turn on...at all

I can't figure out what it is, cause I've checked every fuse and not one is blown...I was told to get a voltage meter and check the wires in the harness...and I will if I have to...but if you guys know any other solutions, let me know.

Yea you have to make sure that the harness is getting power, use a multimeter for that. If it is getting power then its probably the radio itself, and if it isn't getting power, then you need to start tracing wires to see where it "stops" getting power - thats a bi***! Good luck and hopefully its something stupid!

hopefully, the reason my car wouldn't start was cause the fuel pump O-rings weren't sealing properly cause I didn't use that bottom rubber piece for it...if thats stupid enough

sounds like maybe a grounding problem to me. I know my stock head unit didn't work until I put screws in it and Blam there it was. If you already have then cool. Just a suggestion

honestly...hmm...I don't think I had the screws in...I gonna go try that...I just had it plugged in with all the wires on it...

and ya...I've been thinking it is grounding...I just don't see how it would stop working...I it not like the car was on when the fuse blew...the keys weren't even in the car...I was just charging the battery...
