no its still an evo, 4 door. it has a slightly bigger turbo (i forgot the size). forgedd bbs wheels, aluminum roof and better brakes. i know the aluminum roof has part to do with it beign lighter. but if i remember correctly, it still comes with ac, radio and creature comforts. imagine combining that with the rs package of no ac, no radio, no hid lights, no rear windshield wiper, you'll have a beast with awd, 300 hp, that weighs 3000lbs with a diff in it. oh my god that thing would be a rocket shipOriginally posted by 14.5 drift

here's a full article on the evo mr. my bad earlier, no radio, but it does have ac. the lightening came from suspension and a new roof and wheels

Okay everyone is talking about the "warranty"....Umm HELLO!!!! you are all talking about modding it and such. Mitsu has been SUPER anal about mods to these cars. If you do ANYTHING to it they are threatening to void the warranty. So personally, bang for the buck, I would get a GSX. However if you have 30k to spend on the car and don't care if you mod it and blow it up that you may have to pay for it, then more power to ya. Just doesn't seem right. For MUCH less than 30k I could have my GSX looking better and performing better. Just my $0.02 so please just take it for what its worth and not tell me what an idiot i am and crap...

Don't get me wrong, some people say they beat the heck outa their EVO, and the clutch is going strong at 20,000+. But it's a big enough issue that "DID MITSU SCREW UP THE CLUTCH?" is a popular poll item over on the Evo forums.
