I get off the phone with one of my friends, and we plan to meet up at red robins before we were going to go see a movie. So im driving down 185th like the main road of beaverton/hillsborro with lots of shopping area etc... and I see all of a sudden lights of a car coming at me real quick.

[NOW there is some traffic but not TOO bad cuz its dark and its getting closer to about 8:00. I have my video camera taped up on my dash cuz I wanted to get some video clips of me blowing off my new BOV. ]

anyways so I was like hmm looked like it had alot of pickup, so I figured A. its a nice car, B. its a crap car with bad shocks or something.

Anyways so about a mile or 2 down the road he gets out from behind me and shoots up next to me. A red Saab. and his buddy in the pasenger seat was filming me and so he was like, lets go lets go. So we just mess around, in 2nd gear not really going over the speed limit TOO much 45 mph road we were going about 50mph. ANYWAYS
so then he videos me blowing off a few times and then tells me to pull over @ the next place so we can talk or what not. so I pull over into the shucks parking lot and we greet and meet, and so I found out his saab was a Turbo LSD fwd Saab Viggen 245+ hp stock running 20psi (stock)
I was really impressed because I was only running 16psi and I was still gaining on him in 2nd... anyways so his buddy turns out to have a EVO which I love btw. so after a hour or so of talking (totally ditched my friends for the movie) I wanted to go see his evo, So we drove back up 185th to where he had parked his evo in the Fred Meyer parking lot. and I was blown away, hella nice!!!

So anyways We hop in his Silver evo and instantly im amazed, the inside of the evo is just AWESOME, really comfortable seats lots of room Dash is set up pretty nice. Anyways he takes me for a ride, he has a intake w/upgraded filter boost controller at like 21 or 22 psi and a stage 4 ceramic clutchmasters racing clutch. and he pulls a 0-115 with me and his other buddy in the car. and DAMN did it pull. I was extremly impressed and just out right LOVED his evo, The brembo brakes are awesome and stop you on a DIME! the we take a couple turns and got the tires loose just a bit but the Handling was AMAZING. I could never have wanted to buy a evo more. everything was just plain perfect.
Overall I love EVO's even more now then before and I was just on a high for the last few days.

All I can say is hello EVO when I become Rich. hehehe :D

sorry for the long story but I just had a AWESOME time that night till about 1 or 2am with Chris(evo) and Osris(Saab) It was awesome meeting some actual tuners that were into performance and not Ricers like everyone else around here.

Last year I saw Chris's evo at the track run mid 13's but I never worked up enough courage to go talk to him. hehehe :p but anyways Chris osris me and a bunch of other DSMers are all going to the track this friday and it will be interested to see what the evo runs now with the new clutch intake and some more pounds of boost. :) Can't wait

Anyone else got to ride in a evo, mmmmm they are just NICE.

Sure Evo's are nice and all, but if I got rich, I wouldn't buy an Evo. Too many people act like it's Jesus on wheels.

Congratulations... I guess?

Nice that you made two more buddies, it sucks when people drive near to you and act like di(ks, I had an evo tryed to race me the other day too, and instead we pulled over at a bob evans parking lot and exchange comments about our cars... he was a cool guy, also he had quite some mods on his evo, so im glad we didn't race, he would have easily dominated the whole time... but yeah... evo's are just nice.!

Where you at? I think I saw you yesterday I saw like 4 1g's within 30 seconds, it was crazy! on cornell and 173rd. I have the Teal Tsi AWD that blows off everywhere around town :p

Yay Evo....go Evo.... I've ridden in 2 to answer your question, and yes, love it.

Someone locally was dumb enough to let me hot-lap theirs around a parking lot. It was a religious experience. And quite frankly, an EVO is as close as you'll come to Jesus on wheels without selling a kidney.

Shut up you stupid troll.

Yes, I want an Evo, but I won't see one in my hands for quite some time. Stupid me being a kid.
