Ok I just installed my big 16g ported and clipped. When I started the car everything is fine no leaks or hissing. I let it get up to temp and burn off the lightning bolt and pull it out of my work stall turn it off and burp the coolant system. So up until this point everything is fine. I started it up again to leave and notice at full temp Im idling at 1.4k-1.5k steady and my a/f gauge isnt working anymore(along with my radio, but thats not important). So I drive off and while home I step into it to check my boost level is fine, and once I get about 2-3 vacuum it starts to bog really bad and wont boost AT ALL . so I pull back into the shop and check my vacuum connections and I disconnected the bcs and hooked the wastegate directly to the boost sorce on the lower intercooler pipe(knowing Id only boost around 8psi) just to see if my vacuum hook up was messed up. So I go back out and step into it about half throttle and it bogs bad then (omfg)it boosts, and it pulls like a raped ape but when I shift it bogged again and didnt boost. So I went back to the shop lower my idle which is now at 1k-1.1k with the biss screw all the way in. driving it home about half the time it boggs and the other half it boosts...but kinda weird boost.
What my question is how did you hook your vacuum lines for the wastegate, bcs...all with the rre kit with the boost source on the lower ic pipe. Also has this sort of thing ever happened to anyone? Mods are in profile, thanks
