Well last night I was up around my ex's house where her ex lives... (Bad idea) he seemed drunk or just doin stupid shit with his truck.. well I got out of the car and he yells "#### you SOB" and this moarning I wake up to two slashed tires on the right side...

I just bought the car and have a loan to pay, I just spent around $180-200 on shit for it.. and I am a little short on cash. I had to take two of the white rims off the white TSi and put them on the red.. they look sorta good in a way LOL..

I know he did it, hes the kind of idiot that would do that shit. He somehow got the idea that I slashed the tires on his truck too?

But since I have no proof he did it, should I bother calling the cops?

Yes, anytime something like that happens you always need to file a police report. It may seem like a waste of time now, but if anything happens in the future you have documented proof it happened before.

I called the sheriffs office and filed a complaint. I told the the tires were only worth about $150 but the guy on the phone was like "well lets raise that up a bit to 250 for some good tires" :D They said it wont be easy to prove but they will start sending some cars down the road thought he night..

No one saw it though.. so I doubt anything will happen but at least now I have some documentation so if it or anything else happens I have something.

Plus I talked with some of my neighbors and asked if they had seen anyone from around 3am to 5am, no one did.

Don't just get replacements, get revenge.

well besides getting revenge and such......"vandalism" insurance should cover that....

just do the right thing.

Next time, just wait in your car while its parked at your ex's house.

When he comes by to finish the job, simply yell, "Gotcha B!TCH!" and proceed to call the police.

If not, I would just take the valve stems out of his truck and put them in a white envelope on his windshield so that his tires would be out of air.

Technically, you didn't do any damage to his car, although it will be undrivable and a pita to get them back in. Sit on the lawn, grab a beer, and watch him scream and shout as he tries to put them back into his tires.:thumb:

The best thing to do is to set up a video camera and catch him.

Just park there again some time with a camera going.

Don't worry about perfect lighting if you just have tape of someone walking over bending by the tires THEN a set of high beams go on or a strategically placed flood light... you are golden. I don't like playing games like going after someone elses car in retaliation since I refuse to stoop to their level.

If you have vid of the second time it would be such a slam dunk.

I have worked in certain professions before.

Exidence like clear crisp video is priceless and so damning. You have that and you will make cases that you usually can't... You will also get alot more severe rulings since those handing them out be it a judge or a jury have little doubt of who did it.

Ripper,

I will be VERY dissapointed if you do not plant a boot in his ass.

Wait for him with a baseball bat.

Then proceed to beat the sh*t out of him.

That sucks man. Its a real pisser isnt it?

Back when i had my integra, there was this guy around that had a 91 tsi and painted parts bright ass green then painted the Fruit Loop bird on the side. Well me and my friends were disgusted and told him that his car was embarassing and he got extremly pissed. Keep in mind im 18 and this guy is 32. He had a friend get in front of me while i WASNT MOVING and jump on my hood and say i hit him...left a big a$$ dent in my hood. Cops did nothing but say they would. Then he slashed 2 of my tires on my new wheels. Cops did nothing but say they would. Then he tried to get me arrested for trying to run him off the road which i didnt do, i wasnt even around when he said it happened. Cops blamed it on me and took me to the station and once i had them convinced that i was telling the freakin truth, they said they would arrest him. Cops did nothing once again.

Moral(sp?) of the story?Cops $u@%! And its even worse when you know who did it and you cant do anything about it but live with it. :thumbdown

Something like this happened to me. Back when I had a corsica, someone tried to jack my system. They messed my trunk up real bad. Called the cops. NO HELP. They said to bad for you and went back to the donut shop. 2 weeks later I found out who did it and beat the shit outta him. I barely stayed out of DH, I have to drive 15 miles to anger management and I have 40 hours of community sevice. So when you beat his ass, wear a mask.

I perfer those mini baseball bats, the pack and nice punch without the wieght and lose of balance factor. A little barb wire of some old fence helps too.

Before you beat his ass you need to have a little fun with him. First you could take off his valve stem caps and glue a bb inside the cap so whenever you screw it back on it will slowly let the air out of his tires and he will think the tires are f*cked and buy new ones. Or you could stick a bouncy ball in his gas tank so it will stop up the lines it will take forever for him to figure that one out.

He drives a truck, correct? Why not crawl underneath it and drain the oil from the engine one night? No blame can be placed from lack of maintenance.
