Changing headlight bulb on 1g flipups

So recently my right headlight went out on my '90 talon and i need to replace it. after looking at it and fiddling with it for a while, i still have no idea how to accomplish this. is there a FAQ somewhere that goes over it? if so i'd like to just replace them both. thanks for any help!

Pop the headlights up, and you'll see some screws. Start taking them out, it's 2 piece plastic thing that covers up the headlight. Then you'll see the screws to take the light out. The haynes manual has it spelled out in case you get stuck. It's easy though :thumb:

awesome, thanks! do you know what kind of bulb they are? all i know is the 2g low beams are 9006.

There's a fair chance you're sealed-beam, which means it's time to hit up eBay for some real lights. Hellas are the best, but the "diamond" reflectors on there for $15 a set are fine. Fill them with Silver Stars.

Good stuff, but expensive. The eBay cheapies will be a huge improvement over stock, and you won't be as upset when you snag a rock with one.
