You can hog it out with a Dremel if you go carefully. Scribe a guideline for yourself to keep from going too far. To secure the gauge, use a couple dabs of silicone seal or hot glue on the back.

cool thanx a lot guys, I am just scared that Apexi EL boost gauge is maybe biger than Defi BF Links, or are they the same size?
thanks

You can also dremmel your dual or triple pod gauge to fit the 60mm gauges. Alot have done that to get all of thier gauges together.

I just got my pillar pod from lotek in 60mm, now im trying to put my greddy 60mm gauge and i think that the pod is off by 1mm or 2mm

now my questtion is if any of you guys expereiecned the same thing?

or is it suppose to be like that

it is supposed to fit snugly. lotek makes an excellent product.

hmm.. u got this from lotek? kory has the same one.. 60mm triple pod.. and he has full greddy gauges.. and his fit perfectly? maybe u just have to kinda put a lil force to shove it in there then it should be koo after that? or is it obvious that its not 60mm?

I have the Lotek triple 60 mm. And three Greddy 60 mm gauges w/ peak hold. And no they don't fit in. You gotta get a file and shave off the edges slowly. Shove the gauge in and you'll get a tight fit. Don't worry about looks...because the lipped edge of the gauge will cover up your handy work.

just wondering if any vendors sell a 60mm gauge pod.. all i see are 52 mm.. i need some place to mount my blitz boost gauge.. right now im using a budweiser coozie LOL yea fits right in..

Hey guys,

Just wondering has anyone fit 60mm greddy guages or any 60mm guages in an autometer dual a-pillar pod? I know I can bore the hole out but im worried about the back of the pod interfering with the guage.

Thanks

Dremel

seriously, i got my greddys in, it jsut took alot of sanding, the greddy egt gauge was too long so i had to gridn off a bunch of the case, jsut be carfule not to get the chips inside..

i cant find a duel 60mm guage pod that will house my apexi boost...i seen the lotek triple gauge pod...but i dont want 3 just 2...checked lotek and i just seen the 3...any more suggestions on quality made guage pods?

You can probably go to carbonwerks.com or carbontrix.com and get on carbon fiber.

DSMSPOON,

I had a friend help me with this, just get the drum sander bit and work slow from the inside out ... stopping to make sure you are not taking off too much meat from the pod. Does it take time - yes, or at least it looked like it as I watched. :D

There is no other 60mm pod out there for the a-pillar, put the time into it and I promise you'll like they way it turns out.

Good luck!
