Just like to have more power and im switching to a 14B and was wondering what do i need and is it a direct bolt on swap...Or ill need what else to make it fit. Injectors? I aint gonna boost more that 15PSI i think. Thanks

You should probably get a 2g turbo exhaust manifold and just stick the 14b onto there. The injectors though, you might need something that controls fuel such as an HKS-AFC. I have read a few things about it and heard you might need a M/T ECU because the A/T doesn't know to add more fuel to the bigger turbo. Do some searching, you might find what you are looking for. Hope that helped!

My friend has recently done the 14b swap. It def. gives a noticeable power increase. He got the 2g mani, 450's, and 14b. He didnt swap ECU's either. Maybe thats a contribution to his backfiring, and fuel cut. Hes only running 15psi.

Hey, I'm turbolaserAWDrs's friend. I have a 91 Talon TSi automatic with a 14B, 450cc injectors and a 2G manifold. My car ran much better with these upgrades but if you are going to do this...get the 2G o2 housing and 1G manual ecu. I am in the process of getting these parts to complete the swap. The parts aren't needed but they are gonna make a difference in the long-run.
