Now for the girl thing...everygirl I know that is in "normal" society wants a frickin domestic.And the reason is because its drilled in their head by america since childhood.And how many girls do u see as real racers compared to passengers.Proabably like 20:1 or worse.I dont think girls are as dedicated as most guys so they take the easy way out and get a domestic with out of the box power and most dont even know eclipses are fast...So like everyone else said just take them for a ride... and hear them say OMG

I've never had a girl not say she loved my car... the 94 Teg GSR got plenty of love, the 93 AWD (Deep Green) got even more lovin, and my "new" 92 AWD silver POS w/Black Fender mod still gets love... and I haven't washed it since I bought it, or vacuumed it. The back seat has a battery and an alternator sitting on it, and the trunk has a car cover (haha) and ramps in it. The Man makes the car, the car doesn't make the man.

i bet they say it cuz there fathers do. f-bodies are tried and true and will take alot more of a beating than an import..... my import is a money pit and my domestic is still faster and has never left me stranded (except i've been stuck in it but not in the tsi awd

Ahhhh, Texas. Step _outside_ the loop and you'll see that not ALL girls only like domestics. That must be something taught in the South; I have never heard that before here in the North East. Is that called Car Racism?!?

And as for the original poster: I can't imagine why she said that. It's obvious cars aren't her thing; maybe you can teach her a thing or two.

A couple years ago, I met this girl that said that she didn't like imports and muscle car are always better. So I too her out on a date. And every single muscle car that rev'ed up on me I raced. I didn't win them all, that would be a lie. However I did give them a run for their money or I would beat them. She shut up on the import thing and started saying stuff like, "I didn't know your car was so fast!" or," I'm starting to like imports...bla bla blah." So that night I dropped her off and she asked if she would get to see me again.... I told her yes, but she never did. Or she did as I flew by her in her domestic.

I have noticed that while many girls say that it also happens that all the girl racers have the sense to drive an import. I need to find myself a good DSM girl. I know a girl that drives a 3rd generation but I might accidentally set her car on fire.

The one that's got a white knuckled grip on the handle with her right hand, and a matching grip on my arm (insert other appendages here if you're comfortable making WOT pulls with a girl fishing about in your pants...

A little off topic... But in general, get her into the car. If she's interested, it's not like she'll be paying attention to the car within 5 minutes of driving... (I'm assuming you still have a right hand, and can multitask...?

3 words- I got Naws. My girlfriend HATED my car until i was cruising in 5th gear... downshifted to 3rd and floored it.. Her head went right back into the seat and she was like "What's going on!?" "IM SPRAYING" "WHAT?!?!?!?!" ahahahaha. So now everyone of her guy-friends comes up to me and is like "yo man... i hear that thing has nos?" then i simply point to my sleepy eye (head light) switch and say "You'll never know." now she loves it. LOL
