The article about the guy being beat to death isn't the same incident as the video. I used to skate too, and knew that the skateboard was always a good weapon if needed- only if attacked by a number of people or someone else with a weapon- in self defense. But, what that skater did was just absolutely stupid and ridiculous...he deserves to get his ass kicked, bad. I can't believe no one stopped him after the guy got hit the first time. Nor can I believe the guy didn't go after the skater as soon as he saw that the board was going to be used.

i believe that the guy he hit was a bit drunk , I feel mega sorry for that dude....getting hit with anything but a fist sucks a$$!!! I happen to have gotten into a fight with an Army guy when I was in the Marine Corps....I was a little drunk he tried to hit me with a statue thing that was in the club, He just knicked my head and I bled like crazy....but I sent him to the hosipital with his two butt buddies who held me when he struck me with the statue, he actually nailed his buddy when he missed me, All I can say is that metal impacting the skull is not cool..that skater has some buku bad Karma coming for him.

I'm not going to say too much on this subject because it's retarded. All I will say is that if your going to get involved with an a$$hole fully commit to it, it's all or nothing. If your gonna step into a situation like that dont stop to see if the little $hit is really gonna bash your head in with the skateboard. You just got to witness attempted manslaughter plain and simple.

he would never skate again. I'd make sure he got his kneecaps blown off. I have been hit with an aluminum baseball bat b4 (blindsided) and I was out for a few. When I woke up, the guy ended up with a severely broken nose and was not very happy he decided to hit me when I wasn't expecting anything. Fighting is pointless to me, but I can't stand when people use a weapon on someone who is unarmed.

I would have dove on that mofo. Seems like the skaters that are replying are manifesting that the "Skate" culture is in fact a dark and negative group of people. I know and have friends that skate but they are nothing like that. Very sad and degrading. No offence to the good skaters just the ones who find this type of stuff funny and amusing.

there was a kid in my neighbor hood that use to trow his board at my eclipse, one night he did it after we came from spikewood, if you know houston and the race scene you know you dont go out there unarmed, well he trew his board at my car so i stoped and got out and when we drew back to swing the board he got stoped by a barrel, now he waves when i go by, ####ing ass hole

I'm a grown ass man....who carries a semi-auto handgun. Given the oppurtunity, that guy probably would not be able to skate for a few months.

if you LISTEN to the video you can hear them talking when it goes to the WARNING shit, and you hear skater say "awe dont make me #### you up" and the drunk guy says "#### me up. #### me up" and the skater then smashes the drunk guys head in. you also notice that the board hits the guys head all 3 times, not once did the trucks on the board hit the guys head, the drunk guy was lucky the skater didnt crack his skull in half. i think the drunk guy was stupid for trying to grab the skater and then taunting the skater saying "#### me up, #### me up" without expecting the sakter to actually do it. oh well, the skater was an asshole, i would have ripped his ####ing head off if i was anyone there, especially the guys in the begining who he was pushing off his skateboard....what a dick

Yeah but the fact that you found it amusing when theyre more than a few known cases (ie the Seattle one which reflects this one to a tee), where people have died is whats ####ed up.
