I jus bought a 4g63 jdm with Web cams the only thing is that the cams seem terible big but dont know to much about the sizes and stuff yet LOL! Just wanted to see what u guys thought he said he payed 650Us for the cams i bought the motor complete and with the web cams for 1500 Can!
Just wanted ur guys opinons on the cams i guess!! They are 546/547!!
And do all JDM's come with the big bore lifters??? Thansk!!

Valve Lift: .400/.385
Duration Degree: 272
Duration @ .050 lift Degree: 206
Grind: 546/547

Those are web street grinds. The cam's themselves have had qaulity control issues(a large bad batch went out), but they actaually make very good power. They also have a nicer sounding idle then HKS cam's.

Ok cool he said that he can rev right upt to 7400 and still keep boost!! That would be sweet LOL!!
SO they arent goin to be to big?? And can u notice much difference in the idle with teh bigger cams(lumpy)??

actually, its just like 272's after you tune them on a dyno for peak hp. The Web's have a strange setup, they are like 270/258's or something and they sounds ####ing awesome.

I forget the specs though, been awhile since webs were popular

Hmm, wish I could see some dyno charts of web's largest cams vs HKS's 272/272 setup and audio files of both at idel and reving.

I hear the webs sometimes need to be adjusted though where as I dont think I have ever heard of the HKS's haveing to be.

I have the web 452/228 aka stage 2 cams installed on my 90 talon. I haven't had much time with them because of break-in after the rebuild and then a problem with a cam bolt backing out and screwing up my exhaust cam. Anyway, here is a little vid of my car idling. My short experience with them is that there is very little vacuum which causes the brakes to be a bit tough. I'm getting my idle raised via Jeff's modified ecu to try and cope with that. I may make a review when I get the car back. Here's the link for the vid. http://www.angelfire.com/wi3/talongofastrthnu/videos/Rebuildidle.wmv

Well i just hope they work well that is my only concern!!!
That was my main question? If i was goin to need or have anything installed with these cams but i guess they should be fine right!

If you get adjustable cam gears and play on a dyno with HKS 272's, after you get them dialed in, they ussually sound like Web's....I think Web's come decently setup from the factory. The blanks they are made on are definitley weaker then HKS's but they will make decent power.
