Is it true using 1G oil filters on 2G means less chance of crankwalk?

skater8352: shit
EuGeNiLe: how does 1g oil filter make u not get crankwalk?
skater8352: because its bigger and flows more
EuGeNiLe: hmmm

iddnt know that.. if thats the case.. should i just start using those from now on? im confused.. i usualy use WIX brand oil filter which i havnt had a problem with since using it on my 98 GS-T..

i think it's kind of funny that my roomate's '97 rs eclipse uses the same oil filter as my '96 dodge ram 5.9 v8

Heartwarming concept, but sadly, codswallop.

I don't see how a damned oil filter the size of a thimble can be doing
much anyway. I miss the days of throwing a Ford filter on the Datsuns- about three times the volume, and half the cost.
