I want a FMIC, for looks :D and for flow... but i want performance heres my question...

which would work better:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&category=33742 this
or supra side mount...

im gonna run 17-18psi for race... i really need input from you seniors who can help my sorry ass and tell me if what i want to do is right...

i really want this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&category=33742 but if the supra is the way to go, so be it.

that intercooler is not very good at all, look how few internal fins there are, see how there are like 5 fins per row? there should be like 20.. they help do ALOT of the heat removal..

what we have here is an intercooler that doesent cool. . hmm..

When I first saw that FMIC I had my mind SOOOO set on getting it, but I waited for another person that I know that got it. His exact words if I could recall were "Be thankful you bought a kit". "I guess" he had a hard ass time trying to put the thing together as far as the piping goes. I also read that it wasnt that great of a core. If you want to do it yourself I hear a lot of ppl talk about Spearco Cores so maybe that would be a better alternative for a do it yourself project. I have a FMIC from Hahns. I bought it for $960 total. No regrets, NO HEADACHES.

Considering the fact that Greddy kits are being sold for 860 these days shipped, I'd regret it too.

LOL@ "team crankwalk" sticker..

making and routing your own pipes can either be too much hassle or worth the money saved depending on your outlook, you can buy a bunch of bends and piece your own kit together pretty cheap, but ya gott a spend the time to do it.. bacilly its a matter of how much is your time worth to you..

Which core was this, the one u were so set upon getting...

That core I was set upon getting was that streetimports.com one, or the one guy posted a link to on ebay. Its like this really huuuuuuge core, but what I read from it, it turned out not to be as great as it seemed. So thats why I just chose to pick up a Hahns FMIC instead. :thumb:

AH!!!!!!!!!! This stuff is so confusing.... i think ill end up with one of those spearcos... they seem like a good deal and will work nicely in the front of my 97-99 bumper im buying...

If anyone else has any ideas ied apprciate it...

THANKS GUYS!

If you really want to make your own kit as in fabricate your own piping, then I would just go with a spearco core since a lot of ppl have said how great core they are, but be prepared for a headache if your doing it yourself, a freind of mine did his own and he said he should have just bought a kit. But I think I seen some1 mention about some1 doing the pipes for them for like $150-$250, or something then that be sweet deal I guess. But the easiest option is to just buy a kit and save you A LOT of time. There is a group buy going on somewhere else for full kit for $725 shipped. If you want to know where hit me up and I will let you know but I dont want to post it since I havent read the rules (who has???) and I dont want to get in trouble. Peace BigL
