and dont ban me like you banned my friend for asking a question about cranwalk ROFL

(My personal opinion) NT's are SLOW!!! Get the turbo car! even if you have to go to a different state to get it!

i know they are slow... but what about with like 11:1 compression, stroked(or 2.4 L 420 block) ported everything, extreme cams, better fuel delivery, big injectors, bigger valves, etc.. LOL. well let me just put it this way how much trouble would it take to get into the low 13s?... i figure like 300-325hp?

but i'll keep looking for a turbo eclipse..

a 17 year old can get all that stuff? i can get all that stuff but my car will have 200k miles on it and i'll be 25...

To do all that crap it'll cost you twice as much as just buying the turbo car in the first place. TURBO GOOD!!! :D

BS they're slow. A good 2G NT will save you a load of cash on your insurance. Use that extra $1000 a year you'll save to help buy an aftermarket Turbo. And the NT is still a great car, HP to Weight. Make sure you get a 5-speed.

you think the 420a eclipse is so slow, come race my all motor 420a eclipse, and it will probaly still beat your turbo or give it a run, neons such, they ugly, the 2gens are cool looking.

if i got a na 1g would that be a dumb thing to do too? i can buy one of those now.. and i dont see any gst or gsx for sale. i dont want to be in the 11s or anything. i just want a low 13 second or high 12 sec car

Before I had my talon I owned a 95 RS. I was looking to do the same thing you were with the stroker kit and all. I figured the final cost to be over $7k! Now buy doing those mods your gonna put alot of wear and tear on that engine it probally wont last that long and gas milage is gonnna suckkkkk. Just the stoker and head work would get you 220hp easy. Add a turbo with everything tuned right and thats some insane power. Strokers are great I have one in my truck and you can feel the differnce. A stroker will mainly give you that lowend torque turbo will help at the high end. The storker would be nice but that's 3K for the kit. By the time your done with getting the car to go fast it would be alot more than just buying a turbo straight up and getting it tuned to run in the 14s. I also know your fear about crankwalk. That's the biggest downside to a turbo. I talked to a mechanic and he said the early 95 models weren't really prone to that. He also told me that with the N/T engines they might be able to have more potentail and are stronger than than the turbo. Hey check out an talon they are relativly cheap and you can convert them to an eclipse thats what I'm in the process of.
