I was putting lowering springs on my gs-t yesterday, and my driver side rear strut broke. The only strut I can find in local junk yards to replace it, is a strut off a non-turbo. Will this strut work the same as the struts on my turbo car, or will it not work, or will it work differently, or what?

a strut bar is a strut bar it is configured for the shape of the car not the engine. Now if it was a Sway Bar i think that would be a different story i would think turbo have thicker bars then N/T cars does.

He's not talking about the strut tower bar, he's talking about a strut - the suspension component.

GS-T, take this opportunity to go buy yourself a set of struts from a parts store or online. Pulling a used strut will work as a band-aid fix, but (especially if it has a lot more or less miles on it) it'll behave differently than the one already on your car. You want to keep sets of struts matched with one car - otherwise, one side of your car may rebound quickly and the other side slowly, and one side will dive more when braking/accelerating.
