I saw this show on Sunday morning at 9:00a.m MST on the New Mens network channel and I must say they had some very sick stuff. The two host are bizarre as hell and have weird accents (Sounds like Europeans mixed with Asian = Elmer J Fudd). This show highlighted the Toyko Import show and they had very sick stuff on tons of 350Z's and explained how to take the Skyline big bore kit to make it a 2.9 Liter from a 2.5. Anyhow, they had some excellent footage and despite these guys talking with a lisp they actually know their stuff. Check it... Also, had a sweet SEMA program right after this one. My jaw was on the floor the whole time.
Here is a shot of the host:

Well, I'm sure it's hopped up with rice promotion crap but the cars they show aren't rice. They were decked out show cars which some might consider rice. Anything other then all that Nascrap stuff they show on speed channel 24x7 is good to me. :thumb:

Almost forgot to mention... ON the 2nd show(SEMA) they had all the sick drags of the Dude with Mitsu that ran 7's!! That guys seemed like a nut. He all gets out and starts trying to break dance on the cement.. :D
Also, showed that guy in the Supra burning up his comp by running solid 8's! Sorry I don't have the names off the top of my head but you probably know since the Mitsu guy had a thread after his 7's run.\:dsm:

That show has had some good stuff on it. They did a huge piece on a local shop here in Connecticut (XXTuning) when they had their dyno down at the VW event.

Good show sometimes.

Agreed, sometimes it's fun to watch, but sometimes I just turn the channel. That Blue alien looking Hond they were showing yesterday was awful. What a horrible waste of a lot of money.

It's better than Hoss and Billy Bob fixing up their El Camino on Horsepower TV, fun show to watch.

hey man, I like that show. horsepower tv and trucks are both pretty awesome. they got 100 whp out of a new intake manifold and carberatour for that El Camino:p
The power block host is pretty hot too!

that show is good(super tnr tv), those guys are the builders of chris rado's old car before he went to toyota.and they had a supra build up not to long ago that they built personally and it made 500hp @just 10lbs.couldnt turn it up untill they break in the motor first .there is some rice but the other stuff makes up for it ,...

HP TV is so horrible, 'if it ain't Holly or Edelbrock it's rice!' Watching people make Y Pipes and fitting in new intake manifolds is so boring. "Godamn son, we done got 2 horsepower outta dat der intake"

hey, everyone has their opinions and if you don't like it, then don't watch it. i'll personally take the time out of my sunday afternoon to watch it.
i'm happy to watch any show that does a good buildup on any automobile, and i think that horsepower tv and trucks have done a good job (even though they aren't cars like ours). super2nr tv also has some good information, but i have only caught a couple of shows.

BD1, like I said earlier....they actually got ONE HUNDRED (read...100) wheel horsepower out of a new intake manifold and carberatour. That is pretty damn good considering it is constantly available power and won't blow your engine like Nitrous does. It's a shame that most tuners today don't respect the real numbers that any vehicle can lay down, and not just a turbo 2.0l four banger.

Peace;)

The guy running 7's was Brent Rau, he just got his car back (crashed it into a wall) making over 1000hp on his 4g63 RWD, he's up there with Buschur:thumb: ....and Shep is on his way!!:thumb:

Horsepower Tv is fun to watch cause those guys are such rednecks.

On Super2nr I think some shows are better than others.

And that Supra buildup was pretty much take out stock engine replace with built engine. Not very informative.
