I was just wondering how many of yall were running this ebc and how yall liked it. I have had previous experience with the original profec b and i loved it. I then switched over to the avc-r and thought it sucked. It had a lot of nice features, but I never did manage to really get it to hold decent boost.

So what is yall opinion of the spec 2? Does it do a good job of holding boost? Or does it ad some nice new features which really make it more of a pain to control boost?

anybody?

I have done some searching and it looks like some people are still trying to get the boost to hold just right.

I would like to hear from some people who have it:D

The Spec 2 is very nice, will hold boost, help stop boost spike and also helps with quick Spool-up. Alot simplier than the original Pro Spec.

I have installed one and tuned it. Works realy well and have very nice feature Like peak hold overboost warning.

Is it really.... I would think it would be tougher....since there are alot more features. I had the first profec b, and it was the easiest thing on earth to set... so in your opinion, what makes this one simpler than the first?

It is pretty easy to set, but I wouldn't say it is easier than the profec 1. the profec 1 just had a few seperate knobs to turn, the profec 2 requires you to click the button to enter the next setting, then turn the knob and click it again to save the setting. However I do think it is worth it for the other features.

All in a matter of "Opinion", I like it and I think it is easy to set. The instruction book is straight forward, so you should not have any problems.

I got one to replace my regular profec. I love the size and all it's features. I also like how it holds higher boost than the original so there is no need to switch to a manual boost controller.
