What is stock psi on a 2g?

hey, can u tell me what gauges your got?(did it come with all the supplies needed ex. hose ect.) how much for it and where you got it if it was a website. thanks

my pillars was looking too pretty not to put on, unfortunately it has no gauges in em.
 
Sure, I got a Autometer Ultra Lite from Summit Racing it was $50.95. It came with A plastic hose and various brass attatchments. Those fit well to the guage, but I had to buy a 1/8 plastic T to tap and another 1/8 rubber elbow to attatch the plastic hose to the T. I also had to buy some 16guage speaker wire for power and a fitting for the ground.
 
hey frost where did you round your guage? i got the same guage and i found a ground but my problem is it goes on as soon as i turn the key

oh and mine was running 12 before i put on the intake then it went up to 14
 
There was a 10mm bolt behind the clutch that I looped the ground onto then bolted on another bolt to hold it there. Yea after an intake you should be getting a bit more boost since its easier breathing, also once you get an aftermarket or 1g BOV 15 psi should hold solid.
 
Mine goes from 12-14 in first to 16,15-12 in second and follows the same pattern every gear after. Does it mean Im leaking some where if it jumps to 15.5 then drops to 12 by 5k RPM? Or is it just the waste gate dumping it?
This is on a 2g with a 1g bov. Stock plumbing!
 
So, right now I have K&N FIPK, BCS Restrictor removed, hacked dump tube. Will I only run 12 psi because of the 2g BOV? I have a 1g bov, am gonna order an RRE upper ic pipe soon and Boost guage and EGT, and I have a MBC. I am going to put all that on at the same time.

How much of a power difference is there between stock 12 psi and after I do all those pods and bump it up to 15psi? How many tenths does that usually shave off a 1/4 mile?

I will also soon get a 3" Turbo Back Exhaust.
 
I ran a 14.506 the other night. Not bad, and I still have the bcs and stock UICP so with those mods you should be hittin way lower then that. Maybe 13.99 ball park. I dont know though. Its all in your drivin! I was at the track and there was a 1g with alot of work done and he ran a 14.7! I didnt want to tell him my time after watchin his run. He was also AWD. Im no expert though.

go to www.extrememotorsports.com

they sell a kit with everything you need to hook up a boost gauge. the t-fitting, zip ties, even a stronger silicon vaccum tube. you can buy it with the boost gauge or separate.

AW4g63 i wasent sure if my gauge was right either but you and me seem to have about the same mods and that Mine also goes from 12-15 in first to 16,15-12 in second and follows the same pattern every gear after. i was beging to think my gauge was off or miss reading the boost.
