Whats the best car polish/wax/shiny shit out there, for the paint and also for rims and the rubber?

I heard mothers is pretty good? Thanks.

I like the liquid turtle wax spray it leaves a nice shine & it's easier than the pasty stuff.

www.autopia.com

Dont be a wuss. I spent $89 on a wax/wash package and yes, it was well freakin worth every penny

dont buy cheap stuff, autopia is an AWESOME site, however it does get rather confusing there because there is so many differing opinions, and there isnt a BEST car polish or wax or anything, its whatever suits your needs

i am having very good luck with 3m hand glaze show car polish, no wax, and i wont use any soap but meguiars gold class, (if i have to use wax it depends on the car, if im going for longevity i use #26, if its for looks i use gold class, gold class doesnt last near as long as #26 does)

only problem with the 3m stuff is it is very difficult to get off if it dries too much, but its very worth it

check out zaino products, they make some awesome stuff

Here's a shot that will make you buy autopia stuff. Its the reflection of the sky on my hood. And pls take into consideration that I have metallica paint which is very difficult to obtain a true reflection off of.

It's all about Zaino Bros .... It owns!!!!

Most of the supra guys use it.. and i've tried it .... great stuff

Zaino is a good wax for regular colored paints, ie not metallics.

i did this with ONLY 3m hand glaze

Yeah but your car's black. That's like cheating when using wax and saying "look at the reflection";) , looks nice though.

What about for silver metalic? And also for silver rims? And rubber?

Metallic paint - use a carnuba wax as finishing coat

Rims - depends on finish. Many different products out there

Rubber - you can use carnuba on those too, or mother back to black. I had a better experience with carnuba.

What about Meguiar's wax, is that okay for non-metallic?? I cant find Mothers or Zaino Bros:confused:

Zaino is only sold on the web. You should be able to find Mother's at any automotive store. Meguires, ehh its ok I guess. Best automotive store crap is prolly Zymol, which i heard was made by Zaino.

ive always been a firm believer in mothers and boyds. zymol is some good shit too. all this stuff you can pick up at autozone. mothers wheel polish is some of the best on the market for the money.

Guru Reports recently tested 46 different waxes and only one got an 'A' for appearance. Not Meguiars, not Pinnacle, not Zymol and not Zainos (all got B to B+ scores). The wax that was top in appearance was P21S, a German wax developed by the same guy who developed Pinnacle Souveran (which runs $69.99 for 8 oz). P21S normally goes for $24.95 through high end automotive shops and on line car care outlets.

The dirty little secret is that the same exact wax is sold at Harley-Davidson dealers under the name S100 for $14.95. The wax is the same, the container is the same except for the name of the product. The only reason I can think of it being cheaper is that one container could probably wax a bike more than 50 times, so the average bike owner would never come close to using a whole jar of it and probably wouldn't pay full price for something they will never use all of.

The Harley dealers also sell the S100 paint cleanser which is a real good light polish. The cutting power seems to be between Meguiars Swirl Remover 2.0 and Show Car Glaze. That runs about $8.95, a dollar less than the P21S paint cleanser.
