Well just about an hour ago I got to drive the fastest car I have ever been priveleged to. It was my friends just built, not even broken in yet, 3rd gen camaro. It has a 383 stroker LT1 with a T56 tranny as well as a million other goodies including a 250hp shot of N20. This car scared the crap outta me. I almost refused to drive but he forced me.......didn't take much I truly feel sorry for the poor sap that comes upon this lil' white gem. Any way for those of you that have read my thread on a 350 in a 280zx, my friend that owns that beast of a camaro is the one that is gonna help me build my V8 280zx. Let me know if you guys have any similar hell raising experiences.

i drive my high 15 sec talon everyday. ha what now. j/k sweet experience. i wish one of those would come my way right about now

I tell ya what buddy, if one does jump on it right away. It is a real pick me up type of experience. Hell I'm still up at night beacause of it. Besides your talon is way faster than my nt eclipse. I envy you.

So he took it to the track and ran 9's not even broken in yet?

It takes a little bit more than that to run 9's. The ONLY 6 speed LT1 in the 9's is Tanner Bossanelli and he is running a bigger motor and a little bit more nitrous. So i'm calling bullshit. It may be fast but its not a 9 second car without a timeslip.

My uncle has a 69 camaro with a 547 which is makin about 880 hp on the motor... and he's gonna add a 400 shot of nitrous. I'm not gonna drive it doubt he would let me anyway... but i'm gonna make him take me for a drive. That oughta be fun.

I don't really care about GM's, thats why I'm on DSMtuners.com, and own a DSM, weird how that works.

Like you know everything about every car in the world. I bet theres a lot of stuff I know that you don't about other cars.

well ive seen a 454 stroked out to 510ci in a lifted S10, but thats the biggest ive seen. 547 has to be an animal, i bet its got a lil torque, and prolly enough motor to spool 2 T88s i wonder if its good on gas, heheh

yeah I wonder how many gallons to the mile he gets but if he's goin all out drag then I could see somone goin as high as 547. I've never seen anything above 510 either but that's what my guess is. I've seen Dodge 526 hemi's :drool: but as for big engines that's it.

The first post specified what kind of transmission the car had, which was a T56. If you don't know about something, don't say it.

I'd like to keep the misinformation as low as possible, as car forums tend to have a 10:1+ ratio of Bullshit to Real facts.

My god chitlens. Well i'm going off of what my uncle has told me. I'm not into the older cars or have much knowledge on it. He has had i would say over 50 just camaros in his life. He lives and breathes that shit. His garage is almost bigger than his house. I would believe that he knows what he's talking about. I'm not one to bullshit but if you wanna call it call it. I could care less. A 9 second car is nothing to crack on either way and yes it's a 547 from what he said. I didn't ask much cuz i wasn't tryin to be nosy but i think it's a crate motor that cost upwards to 15 grand. And yes a 400 shot. Bigger motor would allow a bigger shot. But excuse me if i'm not the car knowledge god that can shoot camshafts out of my ass.... you people act silly sometimes over this shit. I call COCKBLOCKING.
