Mitsubishi has announced there MOD event at there manufacturing plant in Normal, IL. The event will happen on Saturday, September 9th, 2006. It will run from 10am to 3pm. Last year Mitsubishi brought out all of there concept vehicles and some prototypes. They even paid for all the food. It is truly a great event for enthusiasts.

Here is a map:

Hope to see you there,
Curt

from the pics I saw of the one in California, I'm definatly on board for the one in Normal. I wanna see that EVO X!!!!:rocks: :rocks: And the ralliart Eclipse, but thats not as exciting cause the evo actually coming out.:D

I'm gonna try to make it even though its like 2 or 3 hours away. If anyone is up in the northwest suburbs and wanna roll down there just say so or shoot me a pm we can meet up.

I wanna go to this because I know I could party it up ISU style with my buddies after the event but I am not gonna risk driving the car that far. After the first motor went I limit the car to one hour drive radius around my house.

All of you are relatively close to me. It would be cool if cruized together. I'll be going and bringing the R/T TT:D

hey dr1ftx3, Red 97 GSX, r.a. frank, anyone got a place we should meet up? I'm also a little scared about driving the eclipse down that far, since I've had multiple bad experiences everytime I rely on the car for a long drive, but as long as everything is running great I probably will end up giving it a try

I'll meet where ever, doesn't matter to me. Probably schaumburg is the easiest...the streets. it'll be early in the morning so i wouldnt think we'd get harrassed by the rent-a-cops. my 3/S buddies may meet over there too (not sure how many of them are going). just a thought.

zilo900, we don't have to race there...I plan on driving normal...maybe a few third gear pulls but nothing crazy. i sure as hell am not looking to get a ticket.

I meant I would be driving normal, LOL LOL My car likes to decide it doesnt wanna run sometimes, or has "creative" ways of telling me something needs to be replaced, I've only put it outa commission once from racing. And I also would not be looking to get a ticket, so no probs:thumb:

I would except going to DeKalb is north of where I am and Normal is south of me...I'd be going kinda outta my way.

sounds good, I have one and have yet to use it:D

This is going to be sweet. I'll definitely be going. I'll be coming from Waukegan, so if anyone is from around there, let me know if you want to meet up and drive to where everyone else will be meeting.

I'll be there and I'm bringing a couple of guys from STL with me too!

well....there's a good chance i wont be taking the Stealth to this event....I took it to the track last tuesday night and wednesday night i found out that I cracked my transfer case.....hopefully I can get a used one and install it within these next couple of weeks. if not I guess I'll take the Laser:(

i cant wait for this year's meet....i want to try to get several DSMers together from around the Dekalb,Sycamore,Rockford,St.Charles,Western Suburbs areas to meet up out here in Dekalb and then drive down I-39 to Normal.

I would like to meet up with some people and cruise down there. We should meet someware more south of streets of woodfield, maybe someware closer to 55 so people dont have to drive north just to go back south to get there. Oh yea and I know a good route to avoid the construction on the bridge over the des planes river.

Yea I'm down for meeting in dekalb I gotta a buddy that want's to go as well with his GSX so just let me know whats going on for the meet up in dekalb and hope to see a lot of you guys there.

Hey everyone,

Mitsubishi has updated the MOD website to include some of the details about the Factory MOD event coming up on Sept. 9th. The website is:

Curt

anyone looking to meet up and drive down please let me know- id like to get a couple of guys /girls to meet up and drive down to normal.

dekalb is not far from I-39 which runs al the way to to normal, so itll be easy to get down there and its a straight shot, really.
