So I worked night shift till 1030, and then went to the gym for about an hour or so, and as im walking out towards my car I see in the distant a white piece of paper on my driver side window, first thoughts obviously for a split second are a ticket, but im like this is the gym parking lot maybe a friend stopped by and left me a note or something.... So I walk up to my car look at the note and it says.. "How much $ for the eclips ? call (phone#) tomorrow nite or tonite doesnt matter what time after 11:30 ask for Greg" . I laughed to myself for a second then left for home. Im thinking I should just phone the guy to humor myself to see what he has to say, who knows he might offer more money than I payed for it who knows.... What do you guys think...

I did the same thing one time. Saw a really nice 97 n/t Talon and put a note on there. I got a call back and the lady told me she'll be selling it next month. I wouldn't call the guy if i were you unless you really plan on selling the car. You'd just get his hopes up.

I had a guy on tuners ask if he could buy my car and he lived in Ohio or something. See what he will give you for it. I know if I could get maybe a grand more than what I paid for it and the mods then I would do it since I have a daily driver.

If you're interested in selling, do so.

If you're not, I'd call anyways and tell him so. Who knows, he might be a fellow tuner?

ppfew, thought it was gonna be another "My car got totaled". Call him, maybe hes crazy and really wants your car?

I think I might just call him to see whats up and how much he's willing to spend comparing to what I spent, oh ya, the note was on the inside of a Trident Splash pack of gum, Vanilla mint to be exact....

I once got a note on my car about a week after I got it. Came out of the movie theater and found the note under the wiper blade. I called the guy and told him I had just gotten it and he said that he'd been looking for one for a while. We talked for a while; he asked what plans I had for it, but I had just started researching, so I didn't know yet. I don't feel I got his hopes up and I might just have inspired him to search harder for a car.

I did the same thing to a 2gb GSX I saw in my restaurants parking lot. Wrote a note and left my number...but never heard from him. Oh well...I just bought one anyway .

I just left a note on a 1gb tsi awd today, hopefully the guy at least calls back and says its not for sale.

I called last night after the gym and there was no answer and I didnt want to leave a message, so I figure I will try tomorrow night one more time, if still no answer, not a big deal to me, wasn't on my mind to sell it anywho.

I've never had any notes, but I have had a guy flag me down in a neighborhood. I figured he was going to yell at me for my exhaust or something along those lines, but he asked how much I wanted for the car. He explained how he had bought a n/t and was trying to get his hands one a turbo model. Sadly for him, my Tsi wasn't for sale.

I was putting gas in my car like 2months ago and some guy in a 2gb asked me if i was selling it but i told him no and he kinda got sad awww...

I wish someone would leave me a note. I'd sell my car for a 40 of Steel Reserve and a BK spicy chicken sandwich.

Or some money. But yea, everything I own is for sale. Always, if the price is right.
