Does it tend more or less towards understeer or oversteer now? How did it behave before?

What was I thinking not running thoses sways, A MAJOR difference, and I know my car very much. A lot more feedback, incredible stability. I like them already.
Put them as in first mod before shocks and springs...

I had the classic illumina/prokit combo before I installed mine which were a great upgrade, but honestly the RMDSM swaybar kit made the care feel like it really actaully was riding on rails. It's astonishing how much the handling and response changes with both the F/R installed (The front is probably the biggest pain in the anus to install, I would rather do a motor swap then put that thing in again:mad:, all I have to say is USE A LIFT & REMOVE THE T-CASE :( :thumb: )

I'd put it at more of a neutral feel to be perfectly honest, granted I never did any real road racing with them. But man,

-on ramps = a ton of fun
-street driving = a ton of fun
-any aweseom twisties = a ton of fun
taking a right-hand 90' turn at 35+ mph = just ridiculous (especially the look on people's faces in the left hand turn lane that you are heading towards ROFL )
-evasive manuevers when people throw crap out there car and you are going 90mph on the highway and you have to swerve to avoid it yet swerving = gliding with literally no body roll into the next lane = BADASS:rocks: (this really did happen to me too, twice to be exact)

Ask any of the Kalamazoo, MI members (maybe some will even chime in;) ) that had taken a ride in my car or possibly drove it, and they will all tell you it makes a serious difference

I've ordered numerous parts from RRE and I've never had a problem with them. Shipping was always super fast, so you might be the minority on this one buddy.

Off topic, but were you at the applebees in totowa last week for the dsm meet?? I think I saw your car there.

Now you got me wanting to get some RMDSM sway bars.

So....what are the other options out there for those of us running 3" exhust systems?

Before anyone flames there's a reason for this (straight from the website):

Q&A:

Q: Do you guys still sell the 2G Sway Bars?

A: No. Sorry, we no longer sell those parts.

Dont believe me: http://www.rernetworking.com/rmdsm/stabilizerbars.html

They are still selling and producing RM SWAY BARS!!! Go to MACHVs website and call them , they bought out RMs products. Trust me, I go in there every now and then and I personally see these bars. Please, this has been a rumor forever that they stopped making them and its not true.

Ahh, it was my misunderstanding then I do appologize. I thought MachV just bought out the remaining stock and weren't actually producing them. Whew....well I know where this month's paycheck is going.

Did they have 1G bars at one point, im looking to buy a set for my awd..

ok, WTF is the difference between the first thing, which has no label and costs 175, the second thing, which costs 150, and the last thing, which costs 300. (Im talking about the 1g stuff btw) To me it looks like the bar and bushings are 150, and for some extra bushings you pay 150 more. If thats the case, I'll just go buy the full suspension polyurithane kit from rre or diamondmotorsport.com for 130 and save 20 bucks. What adds 150 bucks to the price, and what adds 25 bucks to the price?

Seems rather straight-forward, as it were:

$175 for rear bar and all bushings.

$150 for front bar and front bushings.

$300 for both bars and all bushings.

The first-generation AWD Eclipse comes with a beefy front stabilizer bar, but a wimpy rear bar makes the car plough like a draft horse. The RM Racing sway bar kit changes all that. A fat 15/16" rear sway bar bolts up in place of the skinny stock one, and polyurethane swaybar bushings (front AND rear) help both sway bars do their jobs.

This kit is just what the doctor ordered for road racing or canyon carving. Comes complete with sway bar, front and rear sway bar bushings, rear end link bushings, and thorough instructions. Updated 6/245/02

sorry, the excessive talk about only the rear bar, and then when they say "this kit is just what the doctor ordered.... comes complete with sway bar..." threw me off because they use the word bar in the singular form, and then, right after that say it comes with the bushings for the front and rear specifically, so I figured that they didn't make a front one, since the first sentence of the whole thing says that the front sway bar on 1g's is really good. If you read that, they really make it sound like there is no front sway bar for sale here.

I also like that apparently there are 245 days in june. I accidently copied "invisible text" over... hehe

^^^ Ya I hear the front bar is a PITA to install in the awd cars, best to drop the transfer case since these too much hassle to try & install the bar with it in. Think the install is much easier for us fwd'rs

RM still sales the 2g swaybars direct. You don't have to go through MachV to get them.

RMDSM doesn't really exist any more. We did buy their product line. The RM Racing DSM products (includings sway bars and the chin spoilers) are now owned and manufactured by Mach V Motorsports.

RER Networking used to resell the RM Racing parts; it looks like they're no longer doing that.

Something like the fact that the box that is currently occupying space on my floor which contains 2g RM front and rear sway bars came directly from them.
