Anyone know of a shop that actually stocks these? They are backordered according to the main site. All the places I have called do not actually stock them they just order in upon request. Any help would be nice.

No one has them. I've been looking for sets for 2 months or more.

According to the guys at RM they are at the powdercoaters and they will be shipping out backorders the beginning of next week after that they will fill whatever demand is left until they run out again.

What's the difference with RM versus progress (?) who makes the other sway bars for 2Gs? I heard they both make the car feel neutral. Is there another reason you want the RM sways?

RM were the first upgrades I did to my car back in the day since they were the only ones available.

The reason a lot of people want them is because they will work with a 3" exhaust system unlike some other bars (suspension tech)

The RM's is now owned by Mach V if that is any help.

I have a 90 GSX and ordered my rm rear sway bar through Slow boy Racing May 28 and got it three days.

I'm also interested in which sway bars are best for a neutral feel. Ie I want to be able to throttle steer, but preferably not snap-oversteer. Does Intrax fit with 3" exhausts?

So this company:
RMDSM
15345 North 83rd Way
Suite 101
Scottsdale, AZ 85260

480 - 368 - 7475
http://www.rernetworking.com/rmdsm/stabilizerbars.html

is now owned by MachV of Virgina?

Interesting, they must have sold the company right after I called them on Friday.

RMDSM doesn't really exist any more. We did buy their product line. The RM Racing DSM products (includings sway bars and the chin spoilers) are now owned and manufactured by Mach V Motorsports.

RER Networking used to resell the RM Racing parts; it looks like they're no longer doing that.

there is always an alternative to the RM sway bars. Road Race Engineering makes a Rear sway bar. im pretty sure its 25mm or an inch thick, and it has 3 different settings to be set at.

I don't see anything like that on RRE's website...
Road Race has the worst web site compared to other vendors. they dont tend to update the site except for the garage sale section. Robert and mike are just too lazy or care to maintain it as well as others. They do stock these parts. give them a call at 562/777/1522. you'll be amazed at the list of items they carry but dont promote on thier web site. just call and ask. :thumb:

Thereby adding considerably to the already strong, negative correlation between web-site and business quality.

A buisness who has a good website that is easy to navigate and has a good bit of information about the product will sell a product then a company who has a 'I did it myself' antiquated website that isnt updated on anything more regular then once a decade period. Don't get me wrong RRE is one of my favorite vendors, its just that their site blows.

Interesting info about RM and Mach V, I was wondering what was up with them when I couldn't find a set of the swaybars for over 4 months. I gave up and went the more power rout for now.

The negative correlation that I have noted was not intended to be a proscriptive statement. Of course not. It was merely an observation.

I've never dealt with them much, too much of a shipping delay between Cali and Florida, don't do faster shipping on first purchases with new credit card or new address (which inevitably seems to change between times I'd need to purchase something) and hard to figure out exactly what they sell. I found that they make a really cool triangulated strut tower bar- on the DSM autox list of course, not on their site. Only strut tower bar I'd buy, though from a quick read of the SCCA rules it seems like triangulated braces are a bigtime penalty.

If you think running in F/Prepared against gutted M3s and tiny Porsches is a "penalty," then you are correct, sir.

I've ordered numerous parts from RRE and I've never had a problem with them. Shipping was always super fast, so you might be the minority on this one buddy.
