Just so everyone knows. Vin will not be in the third one.

Actually.....

Here's a behind the scenes shot of FF3: http://www.aintitcool.com/images2006/drift1.jpg

Spoiler in invisible ink below:

Apparently, at the end of the film, after the hero has defeated the villain, he lines up for another race and finds that no one local will race him. Then, from out of nowhere, a dark muscle car pulls up, and a deep voice, belonging to everyone's favorite Iron Giant says "You ready, kid?"

End spoiler.

Edit: However, there is some debate as to whether or not the above scene was left in the movie. At some preview screening, several people have posted in various places that they did indeed see the scene, but a few people are relentless in arguing that it may have been cut from the movie.

-its gonna kill JDM
-we will soon see civics and other FF cars "drifting" (aka powersliding, aka e-brake pull turns)
-no body good is in it

opinion, the movie will suck, but Ill wind up seeing it somehow.

1) JDM is already dying...THANK GOD
2) Yea it will be funny to watch them crash before they leave the parking lot:thumb:
3) The best person in the movie is Rhys Millen...and we dont even get to see him:notgood:

Nice photoshop:thumb:

hmmm i just watched the HBO making of it and it actually seems liek its gonna have less gayass CGI in it and more real stunts and racing\drifting and looks like they kept bow bow down too a small role

"Hey man did you get that RB26 in that Civic yet?"

"Ya, but the floor that was bolted in fell out and now we have to weld up my intake....I really shouldnt have used that 50 shot"

I just screened the movie tonight.

I gata say I liked it..It was nothing like the other 2, I was impressed. The end had a nice twist to it I must say. I think most "tuners" should be impressed with it because it focuses way more on cars and drifting than undercover cops, drug lords, or corny ass lines..

Im giving the movie an 8 out of 10.. and I really hated the first two movies..

I feel the exact same way. It was 20 times better than the other two cause it was all based on cars/racing. There was definitely some sick cars in it as well.

Little Bow Wow is in it, enough said. That kid will MAKE it suck. Now that the kid made the movie i bet he thinks he is a real badass also, all the asain people and ghetto white people will LOVE him. -_-

I seriously would. Heh. Wouldn't care if I kill the #### either. Somebody that stupid deserves to die.

Why even take your car? You know that the likely hood of something like that happening is greater than any other day. So you are willing to go to jail for something that ridicules? I wish I could be that tough when I grow up.

You are correct the stupid will get what they deserve.

I will most likely go see it. I have heard it is better then the first two and I also realize that it is for entertainment and not a documentary.

You do realize that the movie has some of the best drifters in the world playing the parts of some of the characters. Most of them are previous winners of the circut and are great at what they do. I think the movie is going to be great. This time its not just a bunch of Hollywood crap going on, its actual people doing the stunts, not computers. Tonight is the night.

What is that supposed to mean??? Yeah Bow wow is in it and that was the downfall of the movie but he has a minor role in it hes not in there as much as you think.

I was planning on seeing Nacho Libre tonight, but I guess I'm going to end up seeing F&F3 because our shitty theatre isn't bringing Nacho Libre 'til next week...

Ahhh, who am I kidding? I was going to see F&F3 anyways :p

Just saw the movie...what can i say...hated the first two...i guess i hate this one too...just not as much....

Let's see other than the annoying hick accent...bow wow trying to be funny...riced out cars...especially the mustang hybrid crap, it was an ok movie.

Only good thing about the movie....cute asian chicks...yeah, i gots yellow fever... ;)

I just saw it also, i liked it, the ending was so dumb ,Vin was in it for a min, that was stupid. then on the way home i raced a s2k and gt eclipse, hahhaa

I just saw it and really liked it. Props to Universal for doing every stunt live-action instead of CG (makes me cry to think of all the crashed cars... ). Unlike the 1st and 2nd, they actually DID do everything that was in the movie (The RWD Evo had an RMR drivetrain [Rhys Millen Racing]), and it took them a looooong time to put the RB26DETT into the Mustant LOL ).

2 thumbs up for real drifting scenes :thumb: :thumb:

And yeah, there is already an Initial D live action movie.

I liked the ending, it was hilarious! ROFL

SR20DET Mustang FTW!!!

And whats with the AWD Evo drifting?

It was actually a RB26DET mustang, and the evo was converted to RWD ( I think because the front tires never spun ). The movie was way better than the first two but still just a so-so movie. The best part is the new saying I have, "So you can read the brochure". That was pricelessROFL ROFL .

Yep that evo was converted to RWD, theres an article about it in Sport Compact Car or some car magazine i remember reading.

Overall the movie was ok but it just didnt grab me. But i suppose it beat out the other ones. I recommend it to any automotive enthusiast. :thumb:

PS: I liked the movie cars better LOL :rocks:

How sick was it when they drifted through that crowd of people.? that was ####in sweet.

I'm watching Nacho Libre instead.

I'll wait for the dvd-rip and a boring week night to watch tokyo dorifftoo.
