I dont know whats wrong with people
I have 99 GST SPYDER and
I have like 15, 2inch straight dings or dents or whatever each door and like few dings in the fenders and back fenders...
My car is black and that makes more easier to see the dents.. All the reflections from door looks annoying due to lots of dent damn!!!!
2Gs seem they get dings or dents even from the small impacts due to how their body looks like
Now im afraid of parking in public parking lot...
Is it just me that suffering from the dents or dings???
Does anyone knows good body shop that fixes dent and dings arround Northridge CA or LA?

I have just as many dings, my car looks like I drove it around when it was raining golf balls.

But I always park in the back of the parking lot.

Lets not even talk about dings! I hate finding new dings everytime I wash my car! It ruins my whole day and puts me in a bad mood. I hate people who cant respect other peoples property. But I have about 10 dings or so.

I dont have any dents but i do have a lot of scratches on my car and now i'm having a problem fitting my bumper cover on perfectly after my FMIC install... oh and today i did notice JB weld on my wing.. (?)

Too many to count.

Its not really a concern for me now, but i would like to take care of them someday.

Once you realize that you car is perfect then you won't worry about your little dings too much.

Just remeber, your the only person that knows they are there.

PS I always park in the back of lots but i still managed to get nailed by a shopping cart on a windy day and add a nice ding to my collection

One on the driver side door. I think that's it. I'll go look later on today.

OOHHHH I hate dings. why is it you always find them when you're washing your car? Too many dings to list. Scratches, well not many, But I got 2 really bad scratches on my passenger door (scumbag) sucks dude, sucks

I have a couple on the door, and one on the rear hatch. (I don't know how that one got there)

I consider my whole car one big ding. it looks nice from 20+ feet, but when you get closer, you'll notice all the imperfections. rock chips on the front, chips on the hood, dings on both sides, curb rash on the wheels, rear passenger quarter panel got into a fight with a concrete column and lost, clear coat on the edge of the wing starting to fade... etc.. etc..

but I still love this car!

^Im with you. People always give me a thumbs up from far away. Then when they come up to it they are like "Oh...I didnt see all this from far away".

anyone know if that ding king thing works to remove little dents?

three bigger ones
1) ding and scratch behind driver's side door from when a dog ran into me while I was driving
2) one on the passenger side front fender from a Wal-Mart shopping cart
3) nice crease on the passenger side door because someone swung their door open and didn't feel the need to prevent it from hitting my car

I was so pissed when those happened because they happened within 2 years of me buying the car.

tons of door dings on both doors, too many to count. now I really don't care anymore, especially since the car is like 10 years old now.

You mean one that uses with stick glue? I have one, but either it doesnt work or pop the body too much and makes it worst...

When I pissed off for getting new dings, my friends told me same thing "Nobody cant see these but you, so dont worry" and i forget about it, but when I get new one, I get pissed off again

my car is a daily driver, and i park next to the unwashed masses in parking lots. it's got lots of scars.

Should I just paint my car with primer? So there is no reflections and makes more hard to see the dents or dings ... but too ghetto

Does anybody check out othere 2Gs in the public parking lot to see if it has dings or dents??
I always do and found out that its really hard to see the dents or ding for white and silver hah

My car was bought from a guy that lived in DC and then it hailed one day. And yes other people notice the dings at least on mine. IT really doesnt matter much, it bothers me, especially because I had a mint condition black GS before this one, bt this is my performance car, once I have the ability to be out of college parking lots, I will get it redone, bu no point when it just gets hit by drunk college students everyday.

I got quite a few in my car. I was a bit upset at first, especially when finding new ones. Now I'm okay with it, because I just tell myself that it adds to the sleeper look

Car had about 20 dings, no major dents.

They all got pulled Saturday

And as for the scratches and faded paint, well, those are going to be gone by Friday

NONE!!


It needs to be repainted, but the body is still smooth.

I have more dents, scrathes, knicks and dings then I have flanges (toes and fingers) to count them with.
