came up with an idea to mount my manual boost controller near my dash inside my car... is there any problem with this? i was just thinking that maybe the lines may be too long or something. any feedback would be awesome. thanks

Agreed, the length of the lines may cause some issues although it has been done before. There are kits like the one pictured for in car control that do not require you to extend the the vacuum hose into the cabin of the car.

I have first hand experience here.

I have set up both long-ass vacuum line and cable-adjustment MBC's in car.

Cable adjustment:

Touchy, a bit stiff, but workable if you sit down and set the line up properly.

No spike

Vacuum line:

Super loud in car (from the bleed hole in the MBC)

Easier adjustment

No spike

so does this mean, i can do it with no problems, besides the loudness from the air-bleeder?

What kind of cable do you use?

I used a thin plumber's snake, but (obviously) it isn't the best choice - the coils cause it to flex too much. It's just what I had sitting around that I could cut up.
