Edit: Damn! My 4 anniversary this month.

Been here since Apr '02. I think I'm in the 600's, I forget how to check.

I guess I can say I'm an oldie. I started out on this site with a Red 98 GS-T. Obviously a lot has changed since then. Unfortunately, I could not change my name, I have tried many times, year after year, seniority does not matter. haha. I'm still seeing if I could be car of the month, I had quite a history and changing a lot in my GSX, but oh well, just one of those things that wold be nice.

Gosh I'm not very old school around here.

I joined up in July of '02. I went from a 94 Eclipse 1.8 to a GTI Turbo to a 95 TSi AWD. What I've learned thanks to this board in that time has been incredible.

I've been here since April 2002, I think my last post was this same kind of topic a couple months ago. :)

Mostly I just browse and search when I have a question aobut something. (Like a tech article on installing a profec b) <---hint, hint

Apr 2002, right here, and I was on DSMtalk when I found DSMtuners.
I had been digging around the VFAQ.com, and plymouthlaser.com, and dsm.org long before I ever found either of the mainstream DSM forums.

Originally, I followed the upgrade path that Extrememotorsports layed out before 2001.

Heck, I personally remember when Sheps car was Dave's, and it was in the 10's.
Dave Buschur sold the Talon to John, John went low 10's then followed with.........well YOU have all witnessed it HERE many times.

I Lub this place:rocks:

June 2002, member #1615.

What's with all the threads about "where are all the old members" lately?

Why not have threads about it? Back when people were friendly and jokes were jokes.

Back when there were 5 lambo door threads a day and everyone wanted to know how to make a awd spyder. LOL

Those were the days. Everyone was such good people. Now there's so many members that it's hard to get to know anyone beyond what tech knowledge they knwo.

It's a shame.

I was here in sep of 02 wiht my 95 gsx but i sold it and bought a ford f-250 and i just now came back and registered again with my tsi. I can never leave dsm's. I had to come back.

Well between this current name, and Phoenix_RsX of my non-turbo days, I've been lurking around since June of '02.:rocks:

i must be retarded, but how do you find member number?
It used to be listed on your profile in the banner bar but the only way I can find now is to put the cursor over your avatar or car link and look at the URL generated. It will end with u=XXXX and that's the used number of them (or you if it's your avatar/car).
