Alright I am having a dilema with my 90 GST. I want coils for my car, but I don't want to pay the 400 bux ground-control charges. Does any one know any good coil kits for my clipse, rather thatn ground-controls, or somwhere I can buy ground controls cheap?

Problem with springs for me is that they only drop a max of 2" that I have seen. I need about a 3" drop. Anyone know any springs that lower to 3"

Please help!!

Please dont waste your time with cheap coilovers ! Trust me.. My first set were Skunks and the cups cracked on me.. I later saved cash again and got some punk ass R1-Racing coil overs. I saw these were alot stiffer but the cups mushroomed after time. Plus these things bounce all over and are really ###.
Now I got the H&R Racing springs 2" drop w/tokiko Illuminas 5-ways and I have to honestly say for a 2"drop they ride good and are the best Ive had so far:thumb:
The only real coilover set up is a true 1 piece full coilover, but they cost alot. Try the H&R racing springs, you will be surprised:D

yeah if you ain't getting ground control or real coilovers then screw it and go with springs. I have R1's on right now with tokico's, and they ride ok, pretty bouncy but i live with it. However, mechanically they are great, no problems and its been a few months. I'm not saying to buy these just that my experience with them hasn't been as bad as others...

thats the way im gonna have my set up

Will that also help me from bouncing so much... my front tires everytime i hit a bump its like a big ass noise... Pow.. im like dam... i dont mind the bouncing.. its not that bouncy.. but its just the potholes i hit oncein a while.... theyr eally suck here in nj

I have some drop zone coilovers on my 90, they work great, just super bouncy and hard, but on a flat road that baby handles! No problems at all and a nice four inch drop my tires are tucked an inch, uhh, sometimes though my windshield wipers come on if a hit a bump just wrong on the freeway, hmm, the ladies don't like that, they're good though, no problems.
