After installing a boost gauge and doing some research, I finally bought some parts that I will be installing on my car tomorrow. These will be my very first mods so I'm very excited about it. Now, most of the parts pictured, I know where they go and how to install them. Except the items circled in green. I ordered those pipes from dejon along with the upper ic pipes. Could someone tell me where they go? I'll provably find out once I start installing the rest. I just wanted to make sure I got the right pieces. And about the bov, do I have to add gasket sealant during the installation or can I just bolt the bov with the gasket without sealant? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

just the lower intercooler piping...

Basically just replace everyything that has to do with the intak/ic under the whole engine bay =)

yes, use some kind of sealer. Ive just done that, using only the gasket that they supply, and it definitally leaks no matter how tight torqued. So of course, I had to make a leak tester only to find that out, and then take off and seal it properly.

I also used dejon pipes... although they are good quality, mine had a pin hole leak in the BOV flange welds. you might want to pressurize each pipe before you put on car just to make sure.

Thanks for your help guys. I guess I'll find out today when everything goes under the hood.

Well, my cousin and I installed all the parts today with the exception of the items mentioned above. I guess hoffman is right about them being pipes for the 16G. I'll call dejontools to swap the parts for the right one or to see if I could just get my $$ back for that piece. But anyways, after the installation I took my car for a ride and holly shit. It sounds like a fighter jet. And the BOV is so loud. Sweett!! I love it. One question though, I adjusted my Joe P. MBC and I get boost spike. The boost gauge needle jumps to like 17 psi and then it settles at 14psi. I don't want to go further than 14psi cause I'm still stock on my fuel system and I hear the "T too small" produces nothing but hot air above 15 psi. But, will the boost spike that I'm experiencing damage my engine? Thanks for all the help.

The spike to 17 shouldn't cause any problems, you could probably up the boost to settle at 16psi. When I had the T25 I used to run it at 16-17psi daily and when I went to the track. It would spike to 18-19psi and I've had no problems. I'm now using a 14b running 15psi and still no fuel mods. Hopefully you can upgrade your exhaust to get the best possible results from your new mods. Good Luck!

I upgraded air intake system as well. I was going to upgrade the exhaust system next (catback + DP) but I'm afraid I'll get mad boost creep. So I was thinking of getting a Big 16g with the turbine housing ported and 34mm flapper as well as the O2 housing ported. But I hear I might need bigger injectors and upgraded fuel pump before I get the turbo. So I don't know what I'm going to do next. Any suggestions?? I'm hoping someday I can put 350 hp to the wheels or may be even more if possible. So I need to plan my upgrade path carefully and do a lot of research. I just bought my GST a month ago so I'm still fairly new to this DSM world. But I'm loving it, that's for sure. Especially after driving a super slow Honda Civic DX for 5 years. :D

Just a reminder, we are in the Newbie forum. He is here for help, not to be made fun of. At some point in time, we all need help for something.

I ordered the wrong part :( . That's why I didn't know where that particular piece needed to be installed. The right part should be on the way soon which I do know where it goes.

Pretty danged _cool_, isn't it?

o, by the way- you're now infected. You'll never be able to own a car without "fixing" it ever again.

Welcome to life with DSM Syndrome!!!!

YOU'RE ONE OF US!!!

 :D :p ;)

Thanks. And you're right, now I want even more power. Shit, I hope I don't get to crazy.
