My goals are to have a car that is mostly a daily driver with occassional trips to the strip. I want to be able to run with lightly modded LS1's, and I want to be able to run with the C5 vettes. However on the other hand, I do not want to invest the money in the bottom end of my engine. I was leaning towards the 20G as my turbo of choice. Now I was wondering which one to get the tdo6 or the tdo5h? How will each of these affect the performance of the turbo, and which is more desireable for my goals?
Thanks
Tim

I am also interested in the same.
20gst......at what rpm do you see full boost. How much boost are you running. Is your's internally or externally gated?
Thanks

Is that the super 20G? Says so in your profile

Is the turbine clipped?

How is the spool? Boost threshold?

No offense 20gst... but I myself and many others may suggest staying away from any HRC turbo's. Simply put a td05 will spool a little quicker but not really have as much top end as the td06. SOrta like the small and Big 16g's, same concept I guess. But who knows how all that works anyway? Poeple have gotten same times with td05's as td06's and small and big 16g's too...

IMO, Id get the true td06 20g and just port the nutts out of it and be satisfied with that. This way Id know my 20g is as much as it can be (true 20g). My friends setup gets 19psi by about 3600-3700rpm...
Depending on what you have you coudl see full boost anywhere from like 3400-4000.
