whenever i am hauling a$$, and i go to push the clutch in to slow down or downshift, the cars RPM go to 0 and it's almost like the car is going to die but doesn't. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

Thanks,
Mike :dsm: = :thumb:

Definitely check your BOV; if you vent it to the atmosphere, when you close the throttle plate, you will cause air that's already been accounted for by your MAS to leave the system, then you'll be putting more fuel into your engine than actually needed, flooding it out. That's probably what's causing it to bog down like that; chances are it'll bog & surge for a few seconds before sorting itself out. The car may even completely cut off sometimes.

well if it is my BOV, what do you think i need to do? If it is crankwalk that really blows, but i have a new crank sitting in my garage i'm just waiting to get all the internals and put it all in at once.
