After all the wheel threads, I finally got a set of wheels I like on my car. Sorry about the shots it’s an old camera and the wrong time of day. Here is a little bit of info for comparison;

43lbs. Gram Light T57-RC 18x7.5 w/+43mm, BF Goodrich 225/40/18ZR Overall Diam. 25.1”
48lbs. 1999 GSX Wheel 17x6.5, Goodyear 215/50/17VR, Overall Diam. 25.5”

Those are total weights with air on a digital scale.

Side note:(JUST THINKING)
How much do you think I could get for my car? (1999 GSX, 29,000 original miles, mods in pro)

Looks really nice. I've always loved the Gram Lights.

looks great, very clean, and nice job on the weight savings.

wow 99' with only 29,000....youll probably get a lot if you do try and sell it.

Very very very nice! I would pay about 12-13k for it. In that condition and miles. :thumb:

If you were actually interested in selling it, you would make a hole lot more if you parted out the performance parts and sold it stock, honestly I dont know why people buy modified cars, but they do. Anyway 29000 original miles thats sick.

Those rims are very very nice also, think how light they would be in 17 inch size!!

^^^^That is a little high, noone is going to pay that much for a 7 year old car even with the mods. It is very nice though and the mileage is great. Are you located in Albany or in the suburbs? I live in Waterford/Clifton Park, but I work in Albany.

Amazing!

If I were to buy rims based on looks, those would be them. Too bad Im trying to find some 13-15 lbs rims that are 17x8 for my 1g. Those are just to heavy to spend that much money on.

those look REALLY good on your green car. Great change for the played out black and polished lip. Gives us an idea that other colors can look good. LOL. Great choice on picking rims I havnt seen on a nice DSM. You ever think about cutting the black piece on the opening of the front bumper and painting the center piece in the back color match green? If so I think you would have my fav. green 2G as far as looks!
