I'm driving from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It's about 4 hours from here. No Mitsu for me, we're taking my girlfriends white 2 door Honda Accord (2002). Can't wait to see the cars.
I was there last year and this time I have a BIGGER memory stick for my digi cam.

I'll be taking my 97 white GSX there. Im coming from west michigan. Hope to see some dsm's on their way!

I went two years ago when it was in the summer and honestly I was pretty dissapointed. I will admit there was some nice cars there but when I was looking at a majority of them I was scratching my head thinking how is this different from the typical rice I see driving down the street everyday. The sponsored car were real nice, but it just felt like they let to many in that didnt deserve to be there.

But hey, the models were great.

I'll be goin from des moines, iowa. however, the gsx is staying at home and mom's nissan altima is going to make the 6 hr journey.

Yea, well pretty much anyone can enter their car if you just pay the fee. Lots of rice, and I know some groups that go to scope out local cars they know to see what parts are in the cars to steal. I wouldn't enter my car just for this reason if I had a "show" car that I daily drove. And be careful of parking in the parking lot also, lots of thefts occur. Its a decent time tho, I'm willing to recommend it as a Saturday night percursor for something to do before you go out on the town...whats the entrance fee lately, I havent been in like 3 years..

its 25.00 to get in the door.10.00 to park it starts at 5p.m. End at midnite but everyone gose to archer watch the races(street racing is bad dont do just watch injoy)

Do they close the street or what I'd think cops know every detail about what happens at this event how do they work that one out?

No they dont close the streets I heard ,last time the cop were paid to let racing but i really dont know if thats true but the streets are open to drive aroud, and drive safe

HIN was cool in the fast n furious days. Now it's just a bunch of riced out cars with big wings. I for 1 won't be there.
