Grr, i have been looking for a decent DSM since late Summer of 05'. The only problem is i live in northern michigan and cant go out of state to buy a car unless its literally on the border of Ohio or Indiana. I want to buy an AWD or FWD Turbo for up to 6-6.5k, doesnt really matter on year, although im partial to 2G's just for look. Sorry just venting, I know patience is the key but grr im sick of my jeep! ok end of rant

Thats how it was for me. But it is worse for me because I live out in the middle of nowhere in BC. I was looking for the exact amount of time you did. Just got mine last weekend. Still ownt get to drive it till this weekend. Yah man just give it time, you will find the perfect one for you.

if youre ever around midland , i know of a guy who has one for sale (awd) i believe its a 92...i dont know if you want it stock or anything, it already runs 12's and he said the lowest he could go is in the 6k's..well just reply or PM if interested and i could see what i could do

Yeah im looking for little to no mods, its going to be a daily driver and im only 16 so i think a stock will have enough power for me to beat my friend with a V6 camaro haha! 16 year olds dont need to be running 12's . Thanks for the help though, greatly appreciated!

Is that Clint's car? Clint, formerly of Autozone? I used to live in Midland, so I know most of the DSM'ers in the area. Well, I used to know most of them anway.

To the original poster: I just saw a 2g Talon at a used car lot tonight. I could check it out tomorrow for you and see if it's turbo and stuff. Bad news: I didn't get a great look at it, but I know it's got kind of a funky two-tone paint job done on it.

I looked and looked for a good dsm in MI..........well I guess i didnt look that hard, I could of found one, but ended up driving to NY. Im sure if you look hard enough you can find one in Grand Rapids or K-zoo, tons there. Like the guys trying to help you on here, get some numbers and call them. Never hurts to go look.........I mean come on its not like gas is 2.39$ a gallon......... Good luck

Oh trust me i got money to spend, my uncle lives down in macomb and he is keeping his eyes out for a talon/eclipse. Its just the only way i can really find a car is through this, autotrader, cars.com etc. im looking for a daily driver 5 spd with few mods, hard to find i know.
