external wastegate

i got an offer for an external wastegate that i couldnt refuse. So know i am wondering about putting it on. I currently have a big 16g turbo internally gated and i was wondering if there is anyway to make it externally gated or can i just put the on the external, with the internal or what? Any imput appreciated. Thank You.

You have a couple of choices. You have to eliminate the internal no matter what though. You can weld the flapper door shut on the internal and put the external on the first runner of the exhaust manifold or if you want it on the o2 you can remove the flapper and take a dremel to make the hole a little bigger. You can also buy a manifold with a 5th runner suited and flanged for an external WG. DNP sells em' ( www.dnperformance.com ).
