It's on right now (6:30 pm) for me on the W.C. But I have dish so we get it three hours earlier and three in a row

This has got to be one of the best car shows EVAR!!!!!!!

It seems like it is going to be on thursdays as a part of their "Turbo Thursdays"

It's going to be on until 4am GMT -4:00. Been watching it since it started! The nun in the monster truck really made me laugh.

I just got done watching it. They had a car called a Spyker. I think they said it was from a new company located in Holland? I thought it looked like a cross between a supra and a lexus. Looked badass to me.

I thought the guy that built the car in his kitchen. So to get it out of the house he just tears out the wall. That guy was awsome. The one with the nun hasn't come on yet.

The Mitsubishi Evo VIII MR FQ400 had the 15th out of 88 fastest time! Beating the Viper and Corvette.

I love this show.

Watched it all night Did anyone else see the part where they were having the burnout contest and the one rocket scientist guy started bashing women drivers, !! By the way that show rock!!

I love that show, I watched it last night and really liked the off-roading part. The host is hillarious also, great show.

I cant goddamn find it. I went even through the 22nd and its not on again........

I actually caught some of this myself, last night. It was on for something like six hours striaght, easily. Local Discovery Channel listed things as "Turbo Thursdays." I saw them compare the Zagonda hardtop, Porsche Carerra GT, and Ferrari Enzo* to a Jaguar XJ220, McLaren F1, and Ferrari F50. The Jag is actually faster than the Zagonda. And the McLaren smoked the GT. They made comparisons about how safety and environmental issues have resulted in a copromise from all out performance.

It was cool to see that whateverhisnameisthemainguy tell how much he liked turbo lag on the F50, so the guy in the lane next to you thinks he's actually got a chance of winning that race.

*The Enzo was loaned to them by the drummer of Pink Floyd in exchange for mention of his book. It was so obivous what they were doing by "sneaking" mention of the book into the segment that it was almost comical. "This Ferrari Enzo comes with only, this book." Heh. Later, the owner decided to call his helicopter to fly him home, rather than drive the Enzo. Damn. That's money, right there.

Also saw him get a Land Rover stuck on the side of a mountain, the C130 land on the beach and unload a Jag, which was pretty ####ing cool, if you ask me. The 300C is a nice car, but that Jag was smokin' hot.

Finally, I liked the segment where they each bought a car for under $200, drove them to Manchester United and back for less than the cost of the train ticket to do the same. When they got back and you saw The Stig, or whatever, take them around the course it was hilarious. I about spit up my beer when the little guy went to hit the brakes on his Rover at 60 and realized there weren't any. Bahaha.

Good show. Conveniently enough, the girlfriend has class on Thursday nights, so now I have something to watch.

And the $800k Zagonda drop top? Holy schnikes, was that a hot car.

Because the GTO was made off of the Holden Monaro platform.

Goto www.video.google.com and just type in "Top Gear" for the search, and it pulls up alot of the popular stuff theyve done.

Didnt feel like starting a new thread but the new Top Gear USA looks lame if I must say. If all there after is money why not just show the original on more than just BBC America. The show is big enough that it doesnt need an American version at all, it just lacks the british sarcasm.

I'm with you.

I watched the trailers, and that show seems like a few nerds trying way too hard to be funny/entertaining and failing miserably.

I'll watch the first episode, and if my instincts are right, that'll be the only one.

Haven't heard about it, but an American version of Top Gear is just stupid. A huge part of the original's appeal is the dry British wit and the chemistry between the 3 hosts.

Some things (a lot of things actually) should just be left the hell alone.

I have BBC America. Top Gear at the push of a button, well worth the extra dollar a month.
