I found out tonight after I got home from working on my car that he died and he's only 19. Coming home from a friend's house he hit black ice going around a corner and went off the road into trees and died instantly. I've known this kid forever, we played basketball and soccer together since ####ing elementary school. All my friends that were off at college came home immediately and we all stayed at one person's house looking at pics and telling stories and stuff. It's so sad.

Its not fair...one minute your here...next minute you hit some ice..or anythign and your gone.

19...19 ****ing years old....i honostly cant handle things like this...and it scares me thinking, you, me, or anyone could be next.

Life is so giving...but takes back when ever it wants. :notgood:

Best wishes man.

Man it sucks, even worse when it's a good friend like that. That black ice is nasty stuff, take it easy man hope you get through everything alright.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know that exact feeling, been through it 3 times now and it never gets easier. I remember everyone going over to someones house and doing the same thing you were. Definately puts life in perspective for you. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my friends, but it definately gave me a greater respect for driving.

Im so sorry to hear this news. My condolences. Keep his memory alive. I have a few friends who have lost friends and they constantly talk about them out of respect for them and all the good things they achieved in their lives.

Sorry to hear about this Brian. My condolences are with you, his friends, and family. I hit a patch of black ice coming home tonight, but I was only going about 10mph. It is some scary stuff especially when you are going faster than that. Take care bro.

Well i'm sorry to hear that, and the same for dth...

I would have gladly traded him places. Same thing just happened to me.

Please accept our condolences as it's a shame to see someone so young pass away. Maybe the best thing is to keep him alive in your memory.

I hope this passes quickly for you,

Andy

Sorry for your loss man... I had one of my good friends get killed in a car accident a few years ago over thanksgiving break. My condolences to you. Please take care.

When you get my age, it's friends, and sometimes family you will have to contend with.

It's never easy. However, I can tell you in time it gets easier to live with. The pain never truly goes away. As it never should if you cared for them.

Remember the good things. That way, they are always with you. It works for me.

Good Luck

i know this is different but my mom passed away two weeks ago. I believe these things happen for a reason and there is a lesson to be learned from every death.

Strange things happen to good people may she live in your memories and watch over you!!!!!! Sorry to hear that....

I'm very sorry to hear that...a week or so ago I was driving and was run into oncoming traffic, I didn't get hurt, but I started thinking about things, it's amazing how fast everything can happen...

I'm sorry again..I will keep you in my prayers

I'm sorry to hear that. It's very sad, it's making even me sad.

On January 2nd, my good friend (he was 19 years old) killed himself. It's just sad to lose someone that is so close to you. But as I found out, life goes on, and from time to time I remember new things we did together or pictures he took of himself on my phone. It just feels good to see these things. After his death, my whole mind was numb, I couldn't even think of crying, I couldn't think period. It's very tough, but you'll get through it.
Why is it we must consume the epitimy of life to truly comprehend what has been given to us... to really understand what we have... to appreciate that life... Is a Gift?
My heart goes out to you.

seeing someone you love suffer is the worst thing. It was the hardest thing i will ever go through and all you can do is get over it. It is very hard but you know the person whouldn't want you to be hurt. They would want you to move on and remember them in life, not death.

Sorry to hear that. I lost a close friend a few years ago in a traffic accident, I know how it feels and I really hope that the almighty gives you and the family the strengh to keep on.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Unfortunately, no matter what anybody says nothing will make it better except to be with your close friends and just share stories. I have been through it twice within the past year and I am only 19. Last April one of my very close friends committed suicide two days before his 18th bday and just a few weeks ago another very close friend tragically died on his first day studying abroad in Spain (freak accident and fell off of balcony). It is something that we should not have to experience especially being this young but it really teaches you to take life seriously and make sure that you have no regrets. Any day could be your last so live to the fullest. My condolences go out to you and your friends, just stay strong.
